it has an exhaust vent to pull moist air out..... is conected to the homes central A/C for easy temperature control and humidity reduction , and has a window to crack for airflow..... we never used it for bathroom purposes..... plus we could just run warm water to create humidity if it was nedded (never was)..... worked out perfect in there..... lights stayed off cuz we didn't need any light in there lol.....
Ahhhh I see... makes complete sense! I dont have access to an area like that, were the kids or guests wont find it. Hubby made a dryer out of a big rubbermaid storage container, but it too quick and made them crispy on the outside and still moist on the inside. (hmm almost like a cookie..LoL) He was thinking about added them to a paper bag and then adding them to the dryer so that it wont dry them out as quick on the exterior. But I dont know......
Then there is what we have been doing... we trim them down and hang them upside down from the ceiling. The furnace is in there and stays fairly warm during the colder months. Once they have dried, like when the stems are dry and the buds are dry but when you squeeze them, they still have a lil bit of moisture inside, we add them to paper bags. Then we fold over the tops of the paper bags and will skae them up once or twice a day and open the bag for a lil bit, so the moisture/ drying evens out. Once they are dry there we then add them to the mason jars and do the same thing with opening the jars and shakin them up a bit.
Feel free to tear apart my method and break it down! LoL
