8 days flowering, 4 65w CFLs, tell me what you think

damnit guys, my a/c was blowing on the plant and i think it stunted its growth. i noticed it immediately, well once the bottom leaves shrivled up. its happening on all the plants and i had it right on it and A/C does blow at like 50 degrees. so hopefully she will continue to rip

GONNA KEEP WATCHING THIS THREAD,

im on my 3rd grow this year, next year im going for a cycle to harvest every 2 weeks,

i built a 460w cfl grow light and reflector >>

using it for vegging atm,

the plants exploded into growth when i started using this light,

im still doing experimental grows using ( just rockwool) in pots, and hand watering them, i got 5 foot plants last year using ( just rockwool in pots)

i used2 grodan 4inch cubes taped one on top of the other

hand watered them every 3-4 hours,

im gonna try it again this year but im using 4 x 4inch grodan rockwool cubes

anyway back to topic...... im gonna use the cfl light ( in pics above ) to do a veg and flower on one plant, see how it comes out.

hopefully as good as this plant youve got,

she looks lovely.

did u say u took clones from her before flowering ?

they are not that hard to build, just use good materials and make sure you wire it safely

nope, open bedroom window, i only use it for propagation and vegging

as for flowering however,i have a pretty dope system, and a few people pff here have built my system aswell after seeing it

i have a shed outside with a vertical grow system ( also home made)

and a setup like this for odour control

NICE LIGHT SYSTEM. And look how close those tops are to the BULDS. Must stay cool. ONE question though? Do you find your HPS bulbs burn out prematurely with the cool tube idea?

my advice throw in as many of them lights you can get on the top on the sides of the plant..your gonna need em i had a shitt load of cfl lights and my flowering was like that but the buds were very airy not dense at all..looks great tho man good job for now

I have done several CFL grows, and the KEY to getting TIGHT buds is dilligently moving your lights to keep them1-2 inches away from your plants throughout the entire grow. Good reflection, and yes side lighting for under the cannopy.
 
so many hairs that bud will look crazy when its done i dont even know if you will be able to see green through all those hairs once the turn orange. It will look like a ball of fire.
