Alright!
We painted the buckets last night pitch black. Started the Airstones soaking.
Today we took the top off of the box until we could cut large enough holes to fit the cheap but durable chain we bought at lowes(48cents/ft).
We took the mylar off the walls until we could get some better quality stuff up there. we hung the lights on a shower rod put up in the closet with the chain and attched it to inexpencive zip ties that we also got at lowes(3$/20pk) and so we have (
150w(42) 2700K CFLs and (2)100w(26) 2700K CFLs on two light strips.
We have IONIC big bloom nutes at 1/4 strength.
We filled the netpots up halfway with the hydroton then put the plants in and then filled up the rest of the way. Then We ran the pH balenced water over them to get everything nice a moist( maybe a 1/4 gal on each netpot full.
we have the water in the buckets coming up about 1-1&1/4 inch up on the netpots so it can kinda act as a wick system.
I also started 12/12 lighting tonight.
Any Comments/Suggestions are VERY welcome!

but one Q.. what spectrum are those lights, they look way to white leaning more towards 6500K.
When your in flower since you are, you want to have 2600K Spectrum Cfl's its way better for flower...
You are gonna want a red'er light so its the correct spec for 12/12!!

Oh thank god. I guess my sprout isn't that much of a runt if yours still looks the same. Everything looks great by the way. Can't wait to see those babys grown out 12/12

Hell ya! And ya I noticed the sprout was growing a bit slow, But then again my last grow wasint an Indica breed.

For CG's question, Yes they are 2700K They say so on the box : ) Thanks for checking though. I had made the mistake of getting the wrong ones at the first of my last grow : )
Cant wait until the babies wake up this morning! I need to make sure their not dead! lol! If they look like their not getting enough water, Ill go ahead and just manually pour a little water over them everyday until the roots hit the water.

GREAT NEWS!!!!
Alright!! The babies just woke up like 3 mins ago and I went and checked them!!
They ha ve accually grown!! and the leaves that were yellowish have turned a rich healthy green!!
Yay! they lived through the transplant and they will be just fine!!!

P.s. Also the very premature bud that is drying in the NESCO food dehydrator on low(95F) should be though at aprox. 8pm tonight! ill keep yall updated though!

Glad to hear everythings going good man. I also got a new start on some seeds. Bought another 46 watts of flowerin bulbs for my 4 new seedlings.

no seeds if there's no males...
and if you do fertilize the females with male pollen, they have an elevated risk of having hermaphroditic DNA, but, I've yet to have a problem. I've had plants go hermie, grow those seeds out, and the offspring was just female. So yeah...

Yeah if theres no males to pollenate the female buds than there will be noo seeds...
Why do you think people including yourself chop down the males?
i would prefer getting non-femmed seeds than just getting a shit load of dank seeds on one grow than the grows in the future ill chop males when i spot them...never buy dank seeds again

Ahh I see now, after a bit of research online. You can smoke the leaves around the male pollen balls. But its nothing compaired to buds.
I dont like the seeds but I also dont like the idea of having to order seeds everytime I want to do a grow....I wish I could just take cuttings before harvest but Id have to get them back into a veg state then restart flowering for them to grow..
I guess Ill just have to order the seeds before every grow, Because I dont have the space to find males. : /

i suggest you save all the leaves you trim, you can make hash or smoke them, pot tea, any type of thc food

why not just take do an 18/6 light cycle for awhile and then take clones before putting your plants into flower. That way you can keep your strain going as long as you want. And you don't ever need seeds.
