How safe is it to buy products from online, like seeds, fertilizers, lights ,and stuff I live in a small town and can not find that stuff here?
That last line is key imo.Pretty safe. I get everything on-line, there are no good gardening stores around here. I never buy all my stuff from one place though.
Safer than going in and out of a hydro store in your local town...
I'd rather much walk into the local agricultural shop and buy all my things, I think that's just paranoia, what are they going to follow you home, go inside your house and look at what your doing? (they being the police, or any other leo)No shit. If I absolutely have to go there I send my partner Otherwise I feel like I have a target on my back.
Online is safe. Who do you think is looking, and how? Everybody ships discreetly. It's not like the UPS guy is going to say 'here's your big illegal hydro setup. Enjoy!'
If police are good at one thing, it's profiling people. You don't think they know the difference between people who go there for gardening supplies and those growing pot?I'd rather much walk into the local agricultural shop and buy all my things, I think that's just paranoia, what are they going to follow you home, go inside your house and look at what your doing? What makes that "Illegal hydro setup" illegal? Nothing.. for all they know your growing veggies, herbs, etc etc. a LOT of people grow their own foods (which last time I checked was not illegal) now of days due to the chemical processes/fertilizers used in now of days commercial veggies and things like that.
Burn on!
Nobody going to my hydro store is growing veggies. Not indoors, not in quantities. I buy on the internet, how are STATE authorities going to follow that? The feds have more productive ways to get their information but they are not intereseted. But some enterprising LEO could jot down license plate #s in a parking lot on their own and check you out illegally and then you are in the crosshairs. I don't think this actually happens. I could be wrong. Store proprietors would have a legal case against law enforcement if they did; illegal restraint of trade, harassment, etc. If you go to a head shop and buy a bong does LEO follow you home and bust you for that 1/8th of shake you got? And online? Think about it. there is too much information and too many transactions. Like drinking from Niagara Falls. ?If police are good at one thing, it's profiling people. I guess it all depends on where you live and how much the cops have to do, and your local laws. If it ain't worth their time, you don't have to worry at all. But some states have ridiculous growing laws, and very bored leos who would love to pop a grow and get their face on their local newspaper.Nobody going to my hydro store is growing veggies.
