I know this has been asked a million times but im having trouble getting a good look at the trichomes on the bud i kno theres some amber and mostly cloudy
The strain is supposed to be a 45-55 day strain
it is california hash plant from dinafem
I vegged only two weeks in order to get quicker harvest and i have clones of her flowering now.
She is at 47 days flowering and the calyxes have began to swell maybe 4 days ago there are only a few white pistils left although it is tough to see form picture when would you guys pull her?

When the trichomes are mostly turning slightly cloudy/milky white with some still clear the THC level has peaked. It will remain peaked until most trichomes have begun to turn amber and from then on THC oxidizes and is lost and the CBN level increases.

It is your call as to when to harvest but that is your window of opportunity to harvest at peak THC levels.

I would flush them for at least a week and get those leaves some nice pretty colors due to deficiencies, showing the plant uses up the last bit of its stored nuts to pump out the flowers. If you still have significant growth of the flowers after flushing for a week, it is up to you if it needs even longer to get as much as possible. You using cfl or hps?

Thanks I have one other question if i may. How much would you say the weight would increase during this window. From the beginning to the end of peak thc potency. Would it be a significant amount higher if you harvest at the end vs the beginning? Thanks again brick top

I actually vegged this plant with cfl's and up until week 3 of flowering used cfl's. I now have her under 400 watt hps. She was looking pretty dense even before i put her under hps. I only have a few harvests under my belt but this plant is so much more dense than the nirvana white widow i have previously grown under hps. I have been flushing for little over a week first with water and molasses now with just water. Do i want to let the soil become completely dry at harvest time? And does 24+ hours of darkness before harvest increase potency or use up chlorophyl or anything beneficial? I have 2 cali hash clones in dwc bucket vegged for 2 or 3 weeks and they are massive. In another month i will be preparing to harvest those. Cant wait to have a nice plentiful harvest unlike the one im going to get off this one.

The weight definitely increases all throughout flowering, especially last week, as long as everything else is going good. Let it get pretty dry towards the end, but do not want to see the plant wilt as a result of too little water, just want to keep humidity down and aid drying. I have heard either way on the extra darkness, it should be fine. I have heard people leaving plants in the dark for a lot longer than that even but I don't know all the details. Try it and let us know.
