man i think there just new growth branches and also thats where the flowers start aswell and id wait till u start flowering keep ur hopes up,i looked through ur journal ,keeping every1 informed and asking question really like how ur doing.
im gonna update mine 2day hopefully with new piccys from overnight growth but i doubt itl be worth it lol.
also another 1 of my seeds have started to germinate =)

Alright, just read this whole thread from the start! I LOVE your stealth set up man. Very good craftsmanship.
To answer your question real fast, the nodes are where you should look. you'll see hairs if its a chick and balls if its a dude. You'll have time between the males making themselves known and when you gotta kill them so they dont knock up your ladies, so don't sweat that.
Some general thoughts I've had while I read:
I wouldn't let the stem come that far out of the seeds during germ. as soon as the white tip shows up, I plant. I've heard doing otherwise can stress the roots, but it looks like it wasnt a problem for you.
Also, I would steer away from clear containers. You aren't using them now but i noticed earlier you were.
I would put the carbon filter on the inside on the inside of the dresser, and have a fan sucking air thru it and pushing it outside. This way you do not have to have something sticking off the side of your stealth grow.
I like what you have done with the paint and the light fixture. If you get the 26w bulbs you should have enough light for some nice dank nugs!
I would start flowering when your plants are 60% the height you want them to be. If you build a screen and then twist tie the stems you can get them all to a certain height before you flower. it will take a lil longer but your yields will be better and the nugs will all get plenty of light! As a person who likes to build stuff, this would be a fun project to undertake.
I'm not sure what fans you have going on inside the cabinet, but i would put in an extra one if you dont have it to move the air around the plants. if your plants are dancing
then you will get great results!Finally, try to keep the humidity between 40-60%. especially for flowering, a humidity over 60% can cause you some serious problems. You can get away with up to 80% if you have good air movement tho
Your grow looks great though man. Plants are healthy, your set up is good, and you obviously have the passion

DtownScience Great Tips and comments greatly appreciated... My Temps Are between 25-28 No Lower No Higher so i think my ventalation system works pretty good... And that is in the Night time when the lights off aswell.. My ladies Do dance when my fan is on the 3 highest settings... I no that filter i Made is shit but honestly its working for right now... It has carbon beetwen the 2 foam layers and NO one has seen it because it faces the wall... i've seen some Sheets of carbon filter i plan on buying when i flower to put on the insides.. And the clear cups that i had them in i didn't no until someone actually pointed it out to me the first time.. and i changed them right away.. I thought i can use them cuz I could see when the plants needed water there would be condensation on the sides of the cup.. Now there in 6 inch pots with drains..
SHould i plant them in a little bit bigger pots when I start flowering i thik the max i could go is like 10 inch...

And my biggest Plants have 6 NODES Each the smaller ones have 4 NODES..
And I THINK not shure but theres 2 leaves on my Biggest plant that At the tips of 2 of the leaves Has this Little Pistil looking thing One in the Centre And one on a lower leaf... Ill Take Pics to show you Guys...

hey dude, if your filter works then thats all that counts! but as your plants get bigger they will get stinkier!
Pistils don't form on the tips of the leaves! they form at the nodes. heres a picture of one of my ladies from yesterday:
The white things sticking out where the stems come together (like in the center of the pic) is what you should be lookin for. your plants are lookin healthy btw. peace

How Come Between your branches Or NODES... You have the Pistils only i have leaves were your pistils are... I dunt understand :S

Thats cuz I'm growing an autoflowering strain, so mine are already flowering. for you, with the KC strain, I would expect to see pistils between days 28 and 35, unless you switch to flowering before that
Don't give up hope man. my best bet, you'll know within less than a week of today

Ok My Buddy Found these lights at Princess Auto In Toronto.. HPS 70WATT witch i think is better than cfls.. and good for what i need it for..for 70 bucks you cant complain... Check It out let me know what you guys think... Im assuming its ideal for stealth/smaller grows...

Im sure it probably would work.. The thing I would worry about is thats not a horticultural grade bulb/light. I'm always kinda weary about buying cheaper things like light because Im pretty sure they'll give you inferior results. Who knows tho, I could be wrong.. All I know is that lights that are sold at like Hydro shops/sites are specifically manufactured to grow plants with, so you can't go wrong buying from them..
But hey, it's worth a shot.. Or you could just put that $70 towards a decent 175W or 250W system. I picked up 2 175W complete MH systems with conversion bulbs for $150 off craigslist..

I would check craigslist or a hydro store too. that light you posted's life expectancy is less than half of the average hps grow bulb i've seen. And i dont see if it comes with a ballast.
Earlier you said your temps are around 26-27? This is about 80 degrees fahrenheit. an HPS bulb will throw off more heat, and may make your grow room too hot. If you are willing to take that risk, or improve your venting, then the HPS will reward you in the end with denser, more potent nugs than the CFL.
if you cant find any luck on craigslist or ebay, or if you can spend the $$$ and quality is very important to you, I would highly recommend:

Hey this looks very nice i just read your journal from the start. Im impressed by ur craftmanship. When you had the problem where the leaf was turning brown it may have been the ciggarette. I noticed in one of your pics you were adjusting a plant with a cig. Niccotine is considered poison to your plants if u smoke one you should wash ur hands before dealing with ur plants. The sex should show soon so dont fret. Im starting a grow kinda similar to yours (its under my house) ill ne growing Grandaddy Purps and Purple Shaman (formerly Super Purple Skunk) and ill have a journal of my own Subscribed. Keep up the good work.

OO The Ciggarette I Was Using It to show How tall it was getting and how fast it was growing... And yea i use sanitizer before i touch my Plants and anything else in the grow room...Thanx for the tip tho i didnt no about the Nicotene fact.. I heard if you had bugs in your plants tho you get some water and put 2-3 ciggs in it then spray your plants and it kills the bugs but wouldnt that kill your plant??? And how long is soon .. for the pistils or sacs to show..My 2 smaller ones are growing taller really slow compared to my 2 bigger ones... fuckkk when i flower those ones are guna give me alot less bud....I already now..i wont be able to get them the same or equal height now. The bigger ones are like 10-11 inches and the small ones 6-7,,,

Just an all purpose Nute from lowes for vegging.. Its From Schultz.. Its Worked on the 2 bigger plants just fine no nute burn nothing jsut nice growth I put half of what i put in the big plants in the smaller ones just becuase i did not wanna burn them cuz of thier size. Ive only gave them nutes 1 time so far since transplanting about 13 Days Ago... When should I Nute them again??

I was wondering if i were to post some pics tommorrow of my area i have for growing could you tell me wat u think ive grown with friends before but this is my first grow just for me. And im a total douche when it comes to ventilation. Idk wat i have to get i know i need one for circulation but then theres inline ones and exhaust ones.....oh ad go with the Gonzo Odor Eliminator cost like ten bucks lasts a lifetime so its worth a try...
