Yup if your caught with drugs to jail with you, if your a cannibal killer they make you a celebrity and walk free.i wouldnt want to get caught in japan for a drug offense....
Japan: Anyone caught with marijuana in Japan is in big trouble. Marijuana use is viewed almost as badly as heroin use is in many western countries. Anyone caught with any amount of marijuana will be arrested. Suspects can be detained for several weeks before they need to be charged with a crime. Evidence obtained through illegal means (such as illegal searches) is routinely admitted in court. Some 98% of all people charged with a crime are convicted by Japanese courts.
People go to jail for possessing less than one gram of hemp and they face many social penalties too (loss of job, expulsion from schools, etc.). Theoretically you can go to prison for five years for a single joint. Larger quantities, cultivation or smuggling will lead to prison sentences of up to seven years. Smugglers caught with a few hundred grams to a few kg of cannabis are routinely sent to prison for 3-4 years.
Hows the weed way over there? Price seems right though.Lol, life is good at the other and of the graph though... speaking from first hand experience..
This is one statistic I don;t mind my country falling last in
Shit, we got tonnes of sun and fertile soil with regular rains for the most part, so even the wild grown stuff tends to hit you. There are literaly fields of "wild" cannabis towards the eastern cape and transkei, but especialy the last is not realy a suitable stop for international visitors... For the more heady highs you need some hydro or at least quality homegrown, and that would be like $10 gram max, but weed could be had from USD 0.50 a gram if you are not picky. I notmaly buy bankies of roughly $10 when I'm low on cash, or 50g parcels for about $25.Hows the weed way over there? Price seems right though.
