**My First Grow 5 Clones w/PICS**

Clones are looking healthy.

What do you use for cloning? Gel/Powder...

Just transplanted my moms into some 3gal pots today. (BK and Hindu OG)

Reason I'm asking is because I'll be taking some cuttings later this week. and was wondering what you use.

I'm using Earth Juice RootStock Gel it's all organic you can also get it in concetrate form. Works very well.

Thanks bro, I'll keep an eye out for that one. I bought something named Clonex Rooting Compound gel at my shop. 100ml like $21.00.... hope it works, lol.

Man, those ladies are looking nice!

My douchebag brother pulled his two plants from the pots because he always has to be right about everything so now I only have 3 it's ok I have more clones and I might buy more clones from RDC on friday. R.I.P G-13 and Afghan they were looking nice too.

You are just minimizing the amount of leaf area the new roots will have to support,
it supposedly speeds up rooting time
I have always done it and have good results

Thanks tom__420. I always wondered the same thing when I'd see some cuttings like that at shops. I thought they were trying to cover the yellowing or curling on the tips of the leaves. lol

I will definitely give this a try too.

Tom, If I put my clones straight into flower right after i transplant them to pots say right around 8 inches will they still yeild good or will they stay really small? I need your input on this one buddy. THANKS:joint:

If they are rooted then yes you can get a good yield
That is what a sog is, it is putting just rooted clones into flower and getting just one cola plants
They can yield up to an ounce a plant if you do it right

What if I top them and then put them in 12/12? will that be better ?

I think you would be better off just leaving them, they won't get that tall
Here is an example of a single sog cola at its best, picture by al b. fuct:
