The rule of thumb is 50-100 per plants or 3500-5000 lumens per plant is my understanding.Hi!
Please can u tell me how much lumins&watt lamps i need for 1 plant? ( Afgan kush rider ) 70w HPS be ok ?
And what tipe of lamps was better for them?
+how much lumins was good for plant ?

It would grow under it, but like Benon said the more light the better. I would probably use a 100w or maybe even 150w, but that is just me..I am using 2000w for 12 plants right now. I could easily grom another 12 plants under my current lights though. If you do use that one I would top and possibly scrog to get the most out of it. So you can keep the light fairly close to all bud sites.tnx dude

minimum of 3000, anything over about 8500 is a little much, and you're probably going to struggle with heat unless you have a tight set up. No amount of light is too much until the heat it produces becomes an issue. I give mine about 6500 to 7 per square ft.

It's not per plant it's per sq ft of grow area. That's why younger and smaller plants need less that large ones.
