ok NEWBIE QUESTION
ok i was watching this youtube video
and the guy said
"to determine the sex of your plant you cut what ever nodes down and you put it in the flowering cycle 12 hrs hours
and it will bud either male or female
lets say mines was a female
he threw his cutting that was a female away
could i let mines grow and harvest the little sucker ??lol

Without a strong well-established root system, the cuttings won't be able to absorb the nutrients they need during the flowering phase. Not really worth the effort IMO.

Ok..You are essentially cloning the plant when you take a clipping off it. You can root it and have another plant to harvest.

But just like GCVT420 says "Without a strong well-established root system, the cuttings won't be able to absorb the nutrients they need during the flowering phase."
It would take forever to root!
