I believe a nutrient forum would be very useful for discussing what works and what does not. The forum regulators requested I post a poll that shows how many people are in favor of this type of forum before they will make one. Please answer poll with a yes or no and if enough say yes they will make it happen.

A nute only forum would be a blessing, save people the time of trying to find specific info and give a place to discuss new nutes etc....

If that was true there would only be 1 type. They do not all work the same because they do not all contain the full spectrum needed for plants during each part of their cycle.

A lot of times combinations of nutrients work much better than individual makes and this is the type of information that would be better documented in it's own forum.

I recently tried CNS17 Ripe by Botanicare and found when mixed it separated into a slimmy gel after a day from my other nutrients. It would probably really clog up a hydro setup. I wanted to tell others but found I'd have to post the same info in all the grow forums to do so.

Agreed... I bought the Fox Farm line, not sure if it was a good idea.... a forum dedicatd to Nutes sounds like a great idea... and i have a feeling that it will instantly decrease the "does pissing im my res help?:dunce:" noob questions lol

Give it it's own Forum Section but with seven forum sub tittles to lessen confusion, arguments and disagreements: 1) Aeroponic/hydroponic nutrient formulations (retail), 2) Soil growing nutrients formulations (retail), 3) Organic nutrient formulations (retail), 4) "Grower mixed" nutrient formulations (chemical -aeroponic/hydroponic), 5) "Grower mixed" nutrient formulations (organic), 6) "Grower mixed" nutrient formulations for soil grows, 7) Non nutrient Supplements other than CO2

send a message to the mod who had you start the poll. they might just tell u to mail it to rollitup yourself or they might message rollitup for you. I think rollitup is the only one who can actually add forums. thats what fdd2blk told me a while back when i asked him about starting a led forum or subforum in the indoor forum like cfls have.

great idea for a subforum. I've spent quite a while researching this topic specifically, and could definitely use some good stickies there, including Lucas Formulas copy-pasta

??????What??????? Any formula can be replicated, but you have to know some simple things like the diffence between ratios and formulas, individual fertilizer concentrations and mixed nutrient EC.
