seriously unless the name, text or avatar are feminine we will always assume its a bloke. the sad fact is generally it is males that do this especially outdoors. there are some nice girl growers out there theres even some breeders so we know there not that uncommon. but to a general its a mostly male orientated forte especially commercial growing for the time being though more girls should get into it. i believe the vibe of the growr follows the produce and yeah girls just have a more mellow, natural, kind aura to them hell were attracted to them arent we lol.

as for the man and sir.

umm man is just a part of stoner edicate get used to it, and sir is more a pommy thing i think.

Usually, whenever I say "man", I don't necessarily mean male.

"man" has really just turned into a slang term, and if its used in a certain way, it can mean a completely different thing. For example:

"Man, I fell really sorry for you"

That doesn't mean I'm describing you as being a male.

Thats just the way I see it.

I will bare in mind that you are a girl and your right, if we do not know the gender of a member we shouldn't assume they are male- although I think it maybe common practice..

As has been suggested previously, if you wish to be acknowledged as a female, choose an avatar (female plant - LOL!) which reflects your gender. Give us some clue as to how you would prefer to be addressed in your signature. Should you refuse to do this, dictating to the rest of us how you should be addressed is unreasonable.

Unless one specifically chooses a user id and/or avatar which reflects their gender, it is reasonable to surmise they are male. Cannabis growing is a largely a male hobby. Meaning female growers are a minority. Expecting the rest of us to ignore this elemental fact simply to accommodate you is unrealistic.

You seem to believe there is an intended insult on our part where none exists at all. If you choose to be insulted that is your problem.

I never refused to tell anyone, it was never asked...the sex of the plants are only what you need to know here...that's why no one needs to make any assumption.

Dude, and even bro I can just chuckle at, but shit like sir pisses me off, that's all.

I was annoyed when I originally wrote the post, so it came off a bit harsh, I didn't mean to get anyone's panties in a bunch.

As a 51yr old 'girl' grower myself, I've refrained from pointing out the inane remarks here. Certainly it pisses me off to see women so degraded in some of the posts (and esp in one certain sig) but I figure they are just young and weren't raised in a conscious, respectful way towards us.
I've found most of the guys here to be pretty okay, and for the most part pretty kind when it comes to helping with solid info, which is why I'm here anyway.

And yes, that is my foot.
