Yup he just got added to the total BS list.....freakn "tool" just post in the political forum since Oct when he joined ( suppose to be brand new poster  and over 350 post all to political forum in under two and a half weeks then Bitch when people challange his post....Hey remember the kid who used to threaten to take their ball home if you didn't let him play....Hell where I'm from we take that damn ball and send that little baby home empty handed crying to go suck on his mommy tits....
lol this has been making me chuckle all day out of all me years on the net this outburst was one of the funniest i have seen. it has completely nullified any of his arguments he has written (seemingly intelligently as well) by showing a perfect example of why americans are wanting the "change" ,elitists and corperate rule might is right so to speak.
the sheer stupidity of someone to preach about freedom and liberty then to try to use their money to deny others freedom.... well lol its a faux pas unlike any i seen yet (and i watched several hundred thousand dollar lawsuits deep down in Usenet) its no wonder he got the admin to delete it. im just glad it was quoted first so we can see their "true values"
WOW!!

you know, Ijust found this thread today, and I see quotes that must be from somewhere else and I detect a certain animosity with a few members here towards Heaven. This is the internet and nothng goes away.Apparently anything said anywhere can be quoted in any thread to prove some vague point that has no point.
Now lets be clear, I have less than 20 posts and have not been here long. I am obviously a n00b because of so few posts and most of them have been here in politics. I have not given any advice on growing, but then who am I to teach legends such as Roseman how to grow?
Post counts tend to soar when people get into these little "You said this...", "No I didn't I said that...", "No you didn't, see I have it right here where you said this...pissing matches. I can get about a dozen posts a nite and not say shit, so what's the point?

There does not seem to be a lot of civil debate in these forums, anyway. Threads inevitably turn into low brow personal comments and have little to do with the original thread. There are what seem to be a half dozen malcontents that insist on arguing trivialities of grammar or context, then attacking when you question their motives or integrity. Trolls, and small minded people are occupying these waters, Too often they distract from a real discussion.

When they said my grandfather was in a coma and brain-dead, I thought "Great! We've never had a Democrat in the family..."
I agree. It's the mindless/off topic comments that bug me most. And they come form only a few jerks.
I just wish people would stay on topic.
A couple of them have been removed due to their comments made in public and inside emails.
And rightly so, mind you.
Thank you for your comment.

Dude whatever...but don't come on hear like you the richest man on the web...that's lame and sorry....and hell yeah if a person has over 350 post in two 1/2 weeks all to the political forum on a grow site...hell yeah that lets me know what that person is about.."right" wing don't have a site because they all screwed up "right" now, so you try to start one on a grow site...WTF...hey call Mccain tell him you would give him some money if he brings his site back up...and by the way a can see someone having 20 post all going to one area in short time ...but 350...dude plzzzzz......and if you make more in a month then I make in a year..you should be able to start your own grow site and a seed bank with money left over ..but this the internet you can (claim) be anything you want...even a lame azz loser :dunce:( if you want)

the sheer stupidity of someone to preach about freedom and liberty then to try to use their money to deny others freedom....
Not true. Until RIU applied their rules regarding Ad Homin posts- we would not be purchasing ad space.

Free speech has limits and websites put rules on the extend to which a person can go before the rules are applied. We were just wanting the rules to be applied.
And you can not see this???
Amazing.

'until the are dealt with" which is to say 'until you (RIU) do what you said you would do- monitoring the site for disruptive people etc.' we would not be purchasing your services.'

And that is wrong?
To ask that rules be enforced??!!

And some people wonder what's wrong in America.

I'm just amazed that somebody had to be explain this to you.

Great first post. This site can get really ridiculous with the bicker and banter. But hey if you sit there and type the response, your just asking for another rebuttal. And if you come back again its your own want/doing...

Ignore the haters. In real life, you clap them.

1.There are many who buy into the party line of their preferred political party. There are many who blindly believe the various political parties have a platform on which they base their actions and agendas and are committed to following through on those policies.

2.Some are waking up. The Tea Parties demonstrate that.
I read the OP, and found myself agreeing with most of it. But the two quoted lines above do not belong together. Teabaggers are a great example of: "There are many who buy into the party line of their preferred political party. There are many who blindly believe..."
A bunch of fox news puppets. Have you seen interviews of some of the teabags? There's some serious ignorance there. I'm not saying they're all ignorant... but many are, and most (or close to all) do exactly what the above quote says (though it would be more accurate to replace 'party' with 'fox news':

"There are many who buy into the party line of fox news"...

And, the quotes about how much money you make, and trying to bully your way into winning debates here - pathetic.

lol this is the internet there will always be argument/ people you don't agree with. your lucky as this is a moderated site and you have the ability to report offensive material. then you leave it up to admin to sort it due process and all. thats what us lowlies do but to publicly state how much richer you are than everyone and that your going to give money to RIU but only if you get what you want lol well i'm just speachless....
i guess freedom of speech can lead you to swallow your foot if not carefull

Well. . . since these idiots hijacked the thread and got all off topic, let's just repost the initial post to see if we can get it back on track. Please stop the bitching and moaning about Haul Me to Heaven's time here, etc. Who cares? So he's posted a lot since they've been here. Maybe they're just on here a lot more and have more opinions than the others. And who cares about the advertising? That's what keeps the market going. If they don't put up ads, someone else will. See it's an equal opportunity site. If you have an ad you want to post, pay the ad fee and get it posted. It's not that hard to figure out.

The Results of Our Ignorance

November 9, 2009

Ignorance is a lack of knowledge, education or awareness.

There are many people today who know little or nothing about the U.S. Constitution. There are many who know little or nothing of U.S. history, let alone world history. There are many who know little or nothing about central banks, and how they are used to steal our wealth.

There are many who buy into the glossed-over news of the day. There are many who take at face value the words of the elected class, the pundits and main stream media talking heads and printed headlines.

There are many who buy into the party line of their preferred political party. There are many who blindly believe the various political parties have a platform on which they base their actions and agendas and are committed to following through on those policies. There are many who believe the president, senator or representative they elected has in their hearts the best interests of the people they supposedly serve.

There are many who are ignorant.

It’s not all their fault—particularly the younger generations. Their education system has been corrupted by 1960s radicalism—the same radicalism that has infected our government.

Public education has become a sad joke. Its downward slide accelerated with the passage of “No Child Left Behind.” None are left behind because none are allowed to get ahead. The intelligent children are left languishing and fending for themselves while extra resources are devoted to those unable to keep up.

In speaking with a seventh grader recently I asked what he had been studying in his U.S. history class. Well, we spent about 20 minutes on World War II, then several class periods on how the U.S. Olympic Hockey Team beat the Russians in the 1980 Olympics, was the reply.

In class they watched Miracle, the 2004 movie about the team and its victory.

How backward is that? Twenty minutes spent learning about a six-year war spawned from the feckless, irresponsible and dastardly policies of the elected and ruling classes that resulted in the deaths of somewhere between 62 million and 79 million people worldwide.
vs
Several class periods on a three-hour hockey game that gave Americans a temporarily thrilling victory over a Cold War foe at the tail end of four moribund years of Jimmy Carterism.

Even the seventh grader was perplexed by his teacher’s decision.

Also glossed over in his class was more than 230 years of American history.

Is it any wonder there is so much ignorance?

Lack of understanding of the founding of our great country has led us to where we are now. Lack of understanding of the origins of the Federal Reserve—and other government attempts to establish a central bank—has led us to where we are now.

Lack of understanding of the causes of Great Depression and the misguided (deliberately or unintentionally) attempts to head it off, and how government policies affected the country’s financial health for years has led us to where we are now.

Lack of understanding of how a president’s policies can affect a country has led us to where we are now.

Where are we now? In an economic pit of our own making—suffering the aftereffects of a Fed-created bubble that spurred individuals and businesses to borrow and spend like there was no tomorrow. Now there may not be one.

Where are we now? Exacerbating the problem by dumping money out of helicopters in an attempt to stop it—at least that’s what the elected class tells us they’re trying to do. It’s a policy enacted by a supposed conservative, George W. Bush, and perpetuated on a grander scale by Barack Obama.

Where are we now? Watching as the elected class finds more ways to spend more money and steal the wealth of the individuals through massive tax hikes under the guise of healthcare reform.

Where are we now? Waiting for the other shoe to drop in the form of Cap and Trade, which amounts to more taxes and more spending.

Where are we now? Enduring the Obama presidency, which equals Jimmy Carter to the second power.

Sadly, many are ready to go full steam ahead with such policies.

Never mind that the elected class isn’t even considering whether such things are Constitutional. Forcing Americans to buy a product—health insurance—is okay with the elected class.

Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer said it’s permissible under the general welfare clause of the Constitution. Presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs told the press the president wasn’t even considering whether it was constitutional and no one had brought it up.

Don’t think the elected class is ignorant. They’re not. They know exactly what they’re doing—stealing your wealth and your liberty.

Never mind whether it’s Constitutional, says the elected class. We know what’s best for you.

Never mind whether it’s Constitutional, it’s free, say the ignorant.

Our healthcare system is in terrible shape, we need to have competition, says the elected class. Government can do it better than the free market can. :wall:

Yeah. With the compassion of the Department of Motor Vehicles and the efficiency of the Post Office.

Where are we now… really?

Many are sitting in front of the television watching Simon Cowell or anxiously awaiting the result of who is getting kicked off the island next or watching some stars in a dance contest.

Some are waking up. The Tea Parties demonstrate that.

But too many are ignorant. And apparently they’re ready to accept anything as long as it’s “free.”

After all: ignorance is bliss and free is good.
Right?

I say - IF YOU'VE GOT IT, FLAUNT IT!! Ya'll are just jealous because you don't have as much money or POWER as Haul. When are you going to learn that's just the way the world works. He who has the money, has the power. He who has the power controls the world, or at least his portion of the world.

Why do you think Obummer is trying to kill the U.S. dollar and get a one world currency? He thinks he's going to be the leader of the world. I've heard intelligence that says he won't make it through his presidency.

the reason this thread took a turn was when the next man assumes he has more money then the next man ...and then telling as such ..
so since you want to bring it up again I guess we can add you to the list as well...another teabagger coming out the closet hey.....and never tell a man what you make and about how much he doesn't:dunce:

The point was, he was trying to bribe the mods. I guess you didn't catch that. He obviously wants (like you) to turn this into a right wing site and get rid of all us lefties. Tell me, would that be interesting? If there are not opposing views, why bother. Just go to the mirror and say mirror mirror on the wall, who's the rightest of them all. Can you say John Birch society on steroids? Thats the opinions of some on this site, and they need to be countered. The real facts are, we need a little of both, right and left. The left is willing to make concessions, while the right will not budge. Just because you are of the "right" persuasion, does not make you right, (Correct).

OK, I'll try again. This time without any comment on haul:

We we're not 'bribing' the mods. Not even close. We are simply tired of every thread being destroyed by people who take them off topic. Being taken off topic is one thing but to have to put up with the childish remarks of some is ridiculous.
All we wanted is for the Mods to do their job better. That's all. Just do a good job at what you do.
Is the thread trolls are acting in violation of the rules- they need to be dealt with.

If our PUBLIC SERVANTS are violating the rules- THEY need to be dealt with.

But like most unruly mobs- the laws or the rules just don't apply to them. Mores the pity.
