A wee word of warning, don't squeeze too much, you will end up compacting the coco - I noticed this on a previous grow that I had packed one of my pots with more coco - coco was always pretty wet on that one pot. The yield wasn't as great either so I guessed by compacting it I wasn't giving the roots as much airiation (is that a word)I get it doc, think of it as a sponge saturated with water, pour soda (nutes) on that soaked sponge. How much "soda" did it absorb??? Nothing really cuz the water don't let the soda absorb.
The roots just get to taste the nutes before the rain washes it out. We need to try to squeeze the grow bags free of as much water we can so it will hold the nutes. The dry nutes will feed them slow. I bet they will look alot better next time we see them.
Outside your front door, what a welcome mat that must have beenThx for the tip DST. I thought the same also, as far as packing it. Cause same deal happened to me when I once had the luxury of growing right outside of my front door..
I have done a soil/coco grow before and it worked out just fine I am using a different type of coco now and it's taking some getting use to I will agree. Everything you need to know about coco and more is in this thread. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/163510-coco-growers-unite.htmlThanks dst! I think were going to transplant the coco plants in too soil/coco mix till we read up on some coco grows
