i know!!! i'm hoping i can pull those babies back from the bring of heat death with the cooler, only to light the feck out of them lol

the reflectors arrived today!!! so i'm off to bunnings for the globes as soon as i can get away from work for a reasonable amount of time. yay yay yay :bigjoint:

Km, check ur run-off. It looks as though the PH in ur soil has risen above an acceptable level.

If ur water has been going in at 6.5 for too long, it will have increased the PH in ur soil. If im correct then ur run-off will be at around 7.
Give them a Huge Flush with some water PH'd @ 6. This should help lower ur soil to what they need.

I have that same cooler - the bottom line here is ur on a winning track :) How much $ did u pay for urs?

yah i'd been reading and was just checking that out! you gun, you were right. gave em a flush, think i've lost a couple lol WHOOO, i was so worried about heat stress i ballsed the PH. live n learn.

Oh well, these things happen. I lost a plant that was 1/2 way through flower on my 1st grow.. That killed me as i only had 3.
That SLH will b there in hopefully not too long to replace em.

I got my Air Cooler for Free :)

I love it, i just keep 395ml Coke Bottles in the freezer and rotate them. It holds 2 beautifully.

yeah, but this ISN"T my first grow lol i'm such a fuckin space cadet sometimes, if only i was still young and sharp like you man lol my problem is i'm too frickin relaxed with it sometimes, this shit hasn't been 24 hours but i was too concerned with one thing and didn't realise another had popped up.

i had a feeling you wrangled it! cheeky bugger. new girlies, yay!

i need to eat cereal and watch arrested development in bed.

I just finished my Burritos 4 Dinner, & am watching Nip/Tuck..

so, as per dear ninj suggested i had a big ph prob, primarily in two of the pots. did a ph test (sober) and found the acidity too high, put some lime down and will see how it goes.

this is a lesson - just because you know for sure that one problem is hapening (ie the heat stress) it doesn't mean that another problem isn't also kicking in (ie ph balance off)

i love learning lol

Be sure that this is not put on a timer, but rather run 24hrs, or else every morning u will have to turn it back on as the damn thing is digital.

Main point on it 2 is that u MUST put a few lines of duct tape over the button pads and lights, the lights stay on, n it will affect ur 'dark period' with red-light.

oh we'll see, i may have a wee security issue.

but thanks!! the heat is good n killed quite a few now :( we are having record heat, it was 31 degrees when i left for work at 7am yesterday and it's 27 now at just after 9am lol

indeed, it's exciting - need to time it well tho as i have inlaws comin from uk soonish and they will be using my grow room lol not so much for growing, bah
