cats and plants

so is it just me or does everyone who owns a cat and grow weed always find there cat staring blankly at there plants for hours on end..... every time i grow my cat sitts infront of my grow box and purrs. its so awsome lol

My box does emit some light, and i do admit ill catch my cat there sometimes just starring like its from another planet or somthing.. I never give him the opportunity to look inside unless he sneaks up on me, cause i dont want him to track in spider mites.. those things are bad news..

i help my buddy out with his plants once and a while.. just watering, feeding, etc... He has 3 cats, and i swear you have to watch them because they will try to slip into the room and two of them actually like to eat the plants.. his dog also likes to eat the plants. do they taste like candy to animals or what?

besides i bet its quite warm around there and cats love that and more than likely your cat has become your #1 smoking buddy... mine finds me on the couch with a joint and either likes the smell or the affects...although i will note that my cat doesn't like bongs, i think its the noise that scares her off...anyways ramble ramble ramble

i'd have to say your right. my cats is the olny "being" around 100% of them time i endulge at home. cats are the best stoner buddys every, they nvr ask 4 a hoot but are more then happy if given one.

I noticed a trend. Stoners have cats, rednecks have dogs. The main thing of the trend is cats are crafty and also easier to clean up after. Dogs are definitely some work and dumb as hell compared to a lot of cats. I say cats > dogs, the main reasons being A) shit and B) piss.

my cat loves to help me get rid of the lower leaves as well... he slips past me and bites at the leaves... I know cats love grass, and most any plant that is around your house, so it doesn't suprise me...

It is funny though how anytime you're smoking, the cat is around... i can shut the door in the computer room, and he will push the door open and come right in like he's getting left out or something... He won't get right up in my face or anything, but he surely doesn't mind me exhaling the smoke his way...

A buddy of mine had a real old cat, that had been around MJ her entire life... she would sit on the kitchen table while we smoked, and just sit there staring... if you watched real close, you could see her swaying back and forth a bit... lol, we would completely bust up laughing and the cat would just sit there, stone cold... she was taken to the vet many times and checked for problems, and nothing ever came up.. she eventually died of old age around her 18th year...
