i was just thinking i have 2 plants 10 days old under a 600 watt bulb in a 1.8m sq room all the walls are white, and i was thinking, although they look good and are coming on well, could i use some 100 watt bulbs around the walls... maybe 2 on each wall would that make much difference on the rate of growth or yeild .
more lights???

thats the thing, i too am hoping he has a 600w hps but i think he's got like a 600 watt incan or something, ive never heard of a 100w hps and he wants to use 8 of them as sidelighting for 2 plants? i hope i am wrong but i fear im not.lol

so waht is a good rate of air flow thru the room i have a 4" hole at the bottom and then i 4" fan with carbon filter, pulling it out high up on the oppisite wall, i was thinking maybe another hole down low, on another wall, to increase the air intake, although i don't have any problems i just want to do whatever i can to increase my yield.

more intake....i guess wouldnt hurt,just keep the temp,humidity,and ventilation under control
and like other said,put a breeze over the canopy
also since ur new to this,a lil research will do wonders

600w is overkill for 2 plants imo. you can get like 8 under it easily.4 is the least i would put under it. no more lighting is needed really unless your gonna grow some monsters and they need side lighting. idunno, thats just my opinion, how many plants do you guys think should go under a 600w? lol

i would prob just put 4 at the most....
just depends on what u wanna do...
bunch of little plants or a couple big ones
for example- M.blaze uses one 600w per plant for his monsters
thanks, my mate does 2 plants per light and his yeild is usually 8-10 oz per plant they get about 5 ft high, he's tried it with 4 under 1 and his yeild was about 3-5 per plant, he said there wasn't enough light and 1 plant would shadow another, so it worked out less work, with 2plants, for the same yeild.
