Out of DWC and into soil!
This is a grow that started in Deep Water Culture but had to be moved back into soil for domestic reasons! Makes sense to start a new thread as it is no longer a DWC grow. I'll explain quickly what happened. Had a wardrobe grow in the spare room but due to impending family visit I had to move back into my old smaller cabinet. The plants had vegged for 18 days in my DWC set up BUT this was not going to fit into the old cab So, drastic decision..... they had to go into pots, in soil! I wasn't sure if this would work but 4 days after the move they are flourishing. No symptoms of shock whatsoever, they have just continued to grow Heres a few pics showing the plants before and after transplant. It was done very carefully, I laid the root mass deep in the soil and covered gently then watered in with plain PH'd water. As you can see they look fine.
I did have to sacrifice one of the plants again due to lack of space as this cabinet is only 32" wide and my pots are each 10" diameter.
So here we go again! back in soil and just switched to 12/12. I topped 2 of them just once, the other I have left as shes very short and bushy.
Photos show plants at day 18 from germination in dwc. Nice clean root mass. Next post will show the plants after transplanting to soil.
