Question before i swap to 12/12

[First Time Growin]

Hey I have two plants in Veg, and am wondering before I swap them into 12/12, Should I feed them with Veg Nutes one last time for their last bit of Nitrogen, Or Flush with water, or Just swap right to Flowering nutes?

i wouldn't worry about a flush right now, but i would say go ahead and give them the flower nutes right now.. it will get them ready to flower that much sooner, and help out with flower development..

Flush ur plants for a good week before switching to bloom nutes, you should start them nutes at 1/4 the strength the bottle tells you, working ur way up with each feeding.

I am by no means an expert, as I am only on my 3rd grow, but what most people do is phase their veg nutes out over time while phasing into the flower nutes over time also. For example I may phase my veg nutes out in 4 weeks starting the 2 weeks before flower. I will use 3/4 veg nutes and 1/4 flower the first week then 1/2 and 1/2, swap to flower and next week 1/4 veg and 3/4 flower nutes then mainly full strength flower nutes.

Wow..lots of advice...It depends on a lot of things...How deep green is she? How much nitrogen does your bloom nutes have? What is the strain? how long are you flowering?

Assuming they are not super dark green I feed the last time with veg nutes...no hurry for me...if she starts to lighten up during flower I may give her a 1/4 dose along with her bloom nutes. I want her to use up the nutes, but not too early.

From memory, fox farm includes a small dose of veg nutes until week 3 of flower and then they give a BIG dose of veg, and after that only bloom.

I am trying to listen to my mute, pH finicky girls....the conversation is nearly one way

Oh...but unless you are a heavy feeder...why flush/drown?

Well it's my first time growing so i dont know if i should of been flushing or not... (that's why I asked )

Anyway, the green is pretty dark on my trifoliate, but on the other plant it's decent. some of the newer leaves are a brighter green though..
The strain is G-Funk, the person who sold me the seeds told me it is 8 weeks flower.
My bloom nute is a two part formula, Part A = 3-0-3 Part B = 1-0.5-3

My comment was in response to the advise...I suppose it sounded bad either way...just not a fan of water torture

Your plants look fine...the link riddleme gave to Uncle Ben's thread is a good one. I do not agree with everything he says, but he seems to know nursery plants, and most of that crosses over...just not rootbound!

I usually up-can the week or so before putting them in the flower box so they can put down some roots...they seem to stop growing roots after about 3 weeks (after the stretch)

And my rootbound comment was because Uncle Bill uses spin out to stop plants from being root bound...I feel that it is an issue for the nursery man who will keep a bush in a pot for an extended period of time...this is usually not an annual plant, rather a long lived perennial. MJ is not going to live for more than 8 mos (outdoor) and far less indoor if not a mommy.

FDD grows plants outdoors sometimes in 2 gallon plants...yielding 2 pounds!

That being said...up can if you need to...I finish in 6 liter pots...I have found 3 gallons to be a waste of soil/coco, and only an advantage if you cannot water E/O day or so...good for a quick vacation!

Cool, I baught a nice big pot. The current soil my plants are in, is quite wet.. Fed them 2 days ago but it's still really wet.. So should i wet the shit outta the new soil it's going into? Or transplant it, then wet it all after? or leave the outer/newer soil dry and fuck it all lol

I do not transplant when they are really wet...hard to get out of the pot.

I really do not know anything about 2 part formulas...but I wonder if you did not leave out the other decimals in part B...if not it sounds like grow...not bloom...low P.
