Ok, i know a little bit about growing weed but ever since my freind just got a medical marijuana card and his mom got a care takers license, he wants to start growing. So my question is...how in the hell do you get a plant to grow and look like this!!!!:bigjoint: It would be perfect if we could learn a thing or to. thanks

it all start swith a seed bro get yourself a place to grow in spare room closet clean the hell out of it then get a lamp depending on how many plants you r gonna grow get a 1000 wat hps in a cooltube. make sure you provide some sort of incoming air as well as a good exhaust you want a constant flow of fresh air through your grow. then you can go many different ways go to a local dispenceary im guessing you live by one being they have a card and a caretakers liscence and purchase some clones the plant in the pic looked to be topped if it was a single plant it is where you cut out the neweset growth to have two colas well it was fimmed there a bunch there. you have to germ your seeds if oyu are starting drom seed, get a saucer and a bowl that will fit over it perfect with no leaks then grab some papertowls and place them in the saucer to where the bowl covers em get them fairly wet and put your seeds on them then put the bowl over and wait in a few days you will notice a white little root coming out when it gets 1/4 it is ready to be planted you can get a starter dome with jiffy pots place your germmed seeds in there and put the dome over em till they develope ther first or second set of true leaves then get some good nutrients and give em tlc for flower i would go with 15 30 30 and veg 30 30 15 i may have it backwards im a little stoned now hope this helps bro

OP start in the faq section and you will find an abundance of information.
Sit back and follow some threads and you'll be on track in no time.
Trial and error my friend, You can get plants to look even better what you posted if you care for them as well.

first off welcome to RIU. go to the newbie forum and read then go to the general forum and read. then go to the advanced forum and read, then when you still cant figure out whatever issue you have smoke a bowl and go to the politics forum and bash some one. thats how we do it lol
just messin. but just about any thing imaginable has been discussed here so use that search button wisely.

Well, it seems like you have a need for a grow room design. Many of us would be happy to help you. Post the dimensions of the room you would like to use and your budget. We can start there.

As far as growing a plant like that, its not brain surgery and very obtainable with even tight budgets if they are planned correctly.

From an outsiders perspective his comment didnt seem that deragotory to me i actually found it pretty funny. . . Unless you genuinley felt that that was the only peice of information that would get acrosss to the new grower ( which by the way good luck on your gro!) I dont see the need to straight hang this guy ... and underoath he got you there lmao ... coooooool haha...

To pandabear as far as your first grow im no expert but oneof the main problems i experienced in my first grow was heat/ventilation (make sure you have good airflow and can keep ur temps down i completley underestimated the heat put out by these lights and paid the price at harvest :( oh well live and learn aye :) lucky for me i currently have some purple trainwreck thats beggin me to go buy a grape swisher :)

damn, good advice. Ok, me and my buddy decided on this in the last couple of days...... 2 large pots filled with organic chicken shit soil, 4 or 5 long tubed flourecents on chains, a tabletop fan, and a 400w HPS for the flowering...Good? any advice, or should i repost?

Let me know what strain/strains you decide to go with ! i wish i had a decent cam so i can get my batch on here .. currently growing blackberry kush from a clone i got out of a club in bakersfeild but ima subscribe to your grow for sure :)

I dont have a particular strain but we were thinkin about going with a simple red hair skunk or maybe try a white widow strain. the dimensions of the closet are: 5 feet wide, about 2 feet deep and about 6.5 feet high. Any response is greatly appreciated.
