As I understand it the reason we supplement extra co2 is becuase it is the low point in the equation of water, nutrients, and oxygen for the roots, and light for the green part. What I mean is when we have light blasting at max levels, and we give the girls all the water, oxygen and nutrients they can handle... then the plants can only perform up to a certain level because there isn't the max co2 for them to breath. Adding the extra co2 allows them to process all the light and water/nutes.Questions:
So what does every one think, should i be ok by now to start co2 or wait a little longer?????
That being said, I don't think the plants are performing up to that level yet, so I don't think the extra co2 would do much. Just be extra work.
I would think a good time would be when the buds start up, like week 2 12/12. But I dont think it would hurt to start whenever you want... just might not do much to benefit things.
But that's all my theory, not really based on anything.
