i left for thanksgiving break and left my plants under the care of a friend. i showed him how to water and when to. i came back and found them like this. now he messed up before and killed my other plants so im trying not to jump to conclusions.

before i blame human error. i want to make sure its not the cold weather thats making them like this.

the stems seemed to have lost color.
the inside of the leaves by the veins looks a little colorless. and the little side branches have collapsed under their own weight.

i already flushed the coco but im guessing there could be something else i can do.

temps right now are only 62, but thats witht he lights on, so maybe it was colder earlier.

so kill my friend, or kill the cold?

yah I think its cold, your friend should not have needed to do anything in just two or three days. Mine dont need daily attention at all and I am sure yours didnt either, ask him what he did then you will know for sure. unless he watered with hot or freezing water that should not have caused this,. do they show any purple?

better pics of the white leaves, and leave.

yeah i think it was the cold that did it.

so it should bounce back right, keeping the temps up?
only one way to tell, i am hoping so wouldnt take long under HID

good luck man

EDIT:
Ur friend is a fucking moron! He didnt water them in time and they almost died. SHIT, ur 60 degree temps saved those plants. At 70, they would have drank more and been dead for sure!!!!!
They would have been dead in a few more hours, and all ur roots are shot so dont expect much more lucious growth. He really did a number on those things. What an asshole.

PS, absolutely no way in hell the temps did that, I grow outdoor and in my last three weeks of flower Im lucky to hit 55f, at night they are 35f and that shit doesnt happen.
The low temps may cause a somewhat uniform change in leaf color (like in the pic with ur hand), but that is nothing to worry about. Im not saying u shouldnt get ur temps up to 75day 65-70night but I am saying that they arent the cause of ur problem...

I agree your friend is an asshole he didn't water them that's why they are droopy. I bet he's lazy, a big time stoner, or just a horrible friend. Or shit he probably just forgot to water them.

yah i agree with everyone. this is totally human error. your temps wouldnt effect it like that, that fast. like previously stated try and maintain around 75degrees during the day. and hope that the roots can pull through for the remainder of the life cycle.

what can i do to help get them back.

flush?
rooting hormone?

Just feed them water and wait, all you can do....

And if you ever gonna leave again, don't use your friend,
setup a simple bucket/pump/timer/dripper system to water for you!

so i just went to my local hydro shop, and the guy there suggested that it was a bacterial infection on the roots.

he suggested that i make a mix of water and hydrogen peroxide to kill the bacteria.
im then supposed to let the coco dry out and hopefully it will come back.

also he gave me a hormone that will help bring it back after it dries out.
