Some of you might have checked out my previous grow where I grew three Mazar-I-Sharif plants; all of which turned out male.
They were freebies though so I can't complain. This time around I'm doing Big Buddha Blue Cheese and Dinafem Powerkush with a 150HPS. Both seeds are feminized so I won't have the same problems as last time. Also, CFL's will be added in flowering most likely. I've got nearly 600 watts of 42's on standby, lol.
Soil, nutes and PH testing is ready to go:
I realize my PH testing is ghetto, it's the type where you put a few drops into a vial. It's always treated me well though and luckily my water is a perfect PH to begin with. The only time I need to mess with it is when it's time for tiger bloom which has a very low PH apparently.
My Blue Cheese was born today, 11/22. It's the one in the big black pot but good luck spotting it just yet, it's so small. It was put into germ the same time as the powerkush yet took several days to crack. Meanwhile the powerkush took only 24 hours to crack and another 24 to sprout! The powerkush is three days old. I've also decided to put an HPS on them right away rather than using blue CFL's. I realize this isn't ideal but CFL's are a pain to work with and while I might get a bit of stretching at first I don't mind it and it's not really that big of it deal assuming you use common sense. (This is my fifth grow BTW) Hopefully these little babies will make me proud. I'll try to update every couple days or so. After all, I need to justify the cost of this new camera.
