Aerogarden Questions

So I decided that I really wanted to grow but wanted to do it the cheapest way possible. I looked at the aerogarden and it seems really nice and easy for a first grow, but I have a few questions about it. Are the lights on the aerogarden hood good enough or should I replace them? What strain is the best to grow in it? I have heard Big bud is the best but I am not sure. Can the aerogarden support the plant all the way till you harvest it or should you just start it out there then move to a bigger system? How many plants can fit in one aerogarden?

alot of ppl use em but i would say don't waste your time with one of those things get a good light and a diy system or use soil you will be happier with results

I have an AeroGarden and I wouldn't purchase one if I could do it all over again. The beauty of the AG is that it should be a plug & play system for a newbie. In reality, however, it requires enough modification that you might as well construct a small do-it-yourself system. Perhaps you could list your specific goals, then someone like myself could post a link to a good low cost home-built system that meets your needs. Also, check out the FAQ section.
