I agree... 20-23 hours on 1-4 hours off...18hrs of light a day is good for veg.. you could run 24/7 but its good to turn the lights off for atleast an hour let them rest/cool off.
hey has anyone ever tried 1 hr on 1 hr off throughout the 24 hr day for faster budding? will it bud like that, it equals 12 hrs of dark? please share your results and thoughts.I agree... 20-23 hours on 1-4 hours off...
cheers

YEA THEILL BE FINE BUT FOR REAL GET YOUR OWN THREAD BRO, THIS OTHER GUYS TRYIN TO GET SOME INPUT AND YOU JUST COMPLETELY FUDGD UP HIS SHIT MAN.......NOT COOL...NOT COOL.I'm on my first grow and have them on a 24/0 so I can't give you a comparison.
However the humidity here is 20% (30% to 40% with humidifier). My leafs got dry and I can't do anything about it because I cant mist the leaves. Also you can feed folliage if you can mist and get your girls a little more nutes that way (a very tiny ammount, but still an advantage).
Also, I got thrips and had to use an oil to get rid of them so I had to turn the lights off for 8 hours, and I'm still not sure what that's going to do to my girls.
I'd suggest staying right where you are unless you have plenty of humidity and no chance of bugs.

also read the first couple of pages of that thread. they go over it there.
According to Uncle Ben's thread, it would depend on your situation. He suggests using a 20/4 but he goes on to say that the light can reach a point of saturation and start to work against you by bleaching out the lifeblood of the plant - chlorophyll. This is when the leaves start to get light green I beleive.does seven or eight hour of dark help more
