my plants are in an attic and i guess it gets cold enough at night to freeze the water in the soil, i touched it and its REally hard, and the leaves look all droopy now. can i save them???
ehh it's hard to say. The cold temps probably shocked the roots. You need to get a space heater or something, or else they won't grow in there. I have a tent in my attic, and I just keep a space heater inside. Without it, there's no chance they'll survive (unless you live somewhere warm).my plants are in an attic and i guess it gets cold enough at night to freeze the water in the soil, i touched it and its REally hard, and the leaves look all droopy now. can i save them???
Sorry but that's a load of b.s. It gets down into the low 60's in my growroom at night and I have never had a plant NOT grow.if they go below 68 F,they'll stop growing.add a small heater.
It won't make a huge difference in your electric bill. You will probably only need it at night unless it gets really cold in your growroom. Just watch the temps and adjust accordingly.how much would a space heater effect the electrical bill?. and would i need to keep it on all the time or just at night?
i keep my heater running @ night while my babies are sleeping, then turn it off when the lights come on..how much would a space heater effect the electrical bill?. and would i need to keep it on all the time or just at night?
Rubbish......my attic gets far colder and I have no problems. Dont make up things and post it as truth, it helps nobody and make you look like a fool...if they go below 68 F,they'll stop growing.add a small heater.
