Where ya at bender?? I know your out there, cuz I saw you over on my thread! Oh wait it is like 3 am, nevermind, I need to crash myself.
Not familiar with that issue. sorry. your pics are gret. You could probably use that camera to check your trichromes!
Over the next two weeks they will go BOOM! .... Stay consistent with the Micro, and give them a WAVE, or swelling of the Macro nutes, and they will go BOOOOOM! ...... lovely thus far.... they want micro nutes, and are you keeping a weathered eye on nighttime or lights off temps?
Oh and I am guessing on Great Weights from the HG (2+ zips per?), and moderate weights from the OG (a zip)...... hard to tell cuz there wasn't base shot with the update showing the main stems sparating out......
that HG is a Keeper, a strait Running strain with the phenos to boot, sure do hope you got a mother or more seeds of it to pop and make a mother....... its well worth it! Amazing...... makes me want to grow it....... what breeder again? (baked )
Cool man, how about the hair, are the hair all red when u chop?sounds good .....
25% amber.... once they start turning amber, they go pretty quick..... its hard to say for sure........ but about 20-25%...... I chop mine at 20-30% amber 60-70% milky, 10% clear
Thanks Dragon for explaining. So I will tell you guys what I am looking for and I will continue to post some good high res shots so I can receive input along the way to see if they are where I want to be.for some strains....... some strains will just keep throwing out new pistils, or some white strains have phenos where the pistils don't change until right before the plant dies..... some strains will foxtail out really far and sparse up termed "larfy", and I don't like for that to happen, but it is a sign of readiness, I wait for the trichomes to be in my range, for at least 85-90% of the Calyxes to be swollen to maximum potential (this is typically matched by pistil degradation), they kind of just say "Im done" ........ I could have easily given the Twilight I grew and the Maui Skunk a few more days, but that would have been too much couch lock, and I smoked a bowl of the Twilight yesterday and passed out....... so..... to each there own
you prob can get macro shots that will give you good trich shots, your camera will have a setting for it. But you will need a tripod or something to hold the camera steady at such close focus. Have a play around though and see what you can come with by hand. It's easier to do on a desk once you have chopped the plants though.gave it a quick read, know i definitely want to get a little microscope or magnifying glass.
What is the best thing I could get view my girls as closely as in the picture below. What is the best thing I can get for that under 30 dollars US.
Are their any cheap ways to use a little microscope or a magnifying glass along with a decent 8MP camera to take some close ups.

yeah, I had a look man, no idea I'm afraid. Could be any number of things. Only on the one plant is it?Thanks snow for your input. Can you check out pic 1 I posted above, tell me what you think the problem is?
Thanks Don, I am really starting to think this happened because of all the poking I did in the pots. I am positive a damaged some roots.
alright Fella! well its hard to tell with the hps on maybe if you can take a snap when the lights are out ( dont worry they wont turn herm )
looks like nute burn to me, rust spots usually mean burn especially if the rest of the leaves are still pretty green n healthy. i could be wrong. but at this stage of your grow i wouldn't be too concerned.
and as for them kicking off the last 3 weeks dont fear they will. what are you using as booster?
