Mercury Vapor Lights + Colors

I've been looking at local Hardware store and such gathers price info for my first build that i will be doing here as soon as my seeds sprout.

I just have a few question that my have been already answered but, anyways lets start this.

1. Has anyone used or heard of someone using Mercury Vapor HID light bulbs?

2. I know that HPS bulbs are GREAT from what i've heard, but are the LOW PRESSURE Sodium bulbs any good?

I was going to make a small grow area and when i was looking for a Y socket for lights i found a 4 Way Light socket, If i got this and put in 4 CFL's in it and also got the Y socket and put in 2 more CFL's (different type)

~ (4 x 23w CFL standard lights)
and
Then for the other 2 i was thinking something like this, (not this one but similar, different color)

Would that work or would the 2 colored lights have not positive / negative effect on the grow.

MV are ok but they are not as good as MH, they put out the same blue light but not nearly as much and if im correct, they dont come in as big of wattages.

i dont no anything about low pressure sodium bulbs

i dont know y you want to put a colored light like that in ur room...? only time ive seen people use green lights is to use when they are on night cycle. if your talking about different temp colors then a mix is good.
