How long will trim last

I got a shitload of nice trim and little buds that have been in a dark freezer for 6 months. I want to make bubble hash but just can't afford the bag kits right now. How long will the trim last?
I read somewhere the trichs go bad or loose thier strength.

its pretty late now but freezing is supposed to harm weed . its better off in the refrigerator . im not sure how long it would last tho.

You dont need bags. I use coffee filters.

freezing does nothing to harm weed. I collect trim from all the grows throughout the year then make a load of hash for crimbo!

Going to make the butter this weekend and the wife is going to put it into a fallen chocolate souffle made with dark chocolate & Kahlua. YUM! I do have a shit
load or trim so the rest will have to wait until I can make hash. I'll have to report the results when I get it done because there appears to be some debate on this. Peace!

So take your trim, ice it up and so on for what, 30 minutes. Would using a power drill with a paint stir on it in a 5gallon bucket work? Then what, just pore it through the coffee filter, and colect the mud at the bottom?
