sigh, i'm around and about kinda to an extent.

that is me with the knife taking charge of my life and job and whatnot, things are all rather crappy at present so i''m generally just locked away with a beer and myself.

that aside though, things are going, must say i LOVE clones. The cheese are both a foot tall, gonna be taking a pair of clones, then flowering em both once the clones are safely on the go, the 2 strawb are a couple of inches all, the ak48 about an inch still, so they're all back in the veg tent with the Cheese's downstairs.

had a bit of a chat with a really good friend of mine who'm i always knew smoked the top drawer stuff, well let';s jsut say i had my inklings, now weve had that chat i have a vvery useful resource ;)

and aside from that, 1. i can't water every day, it's a pain in the arse, i don't hae time or energy to be doing it every monring and evening. 2 i REALLY can't be fucked with potting up, transplanting, matter everywhere, dirty hands sinks tubs, saucepans etc etc, i still have 6 bin bags of soil and roots and chopped trees, i have 3 dead plants still in pots ust hiden away, can't deal with the effort these days, kinda linking in with my silent act and whatnot.

so i'm looking at getting one of these

http://www.aquaculture-hydroponics.co.uk/product.aspx?tabID=3&productID=91&categoryID=341&subCategoryID=341

or something to that extent, so that i only HAVE to "water" once a fortnight (change water) and am left with just some rockwool and roots, a lot more manageable.

peace and out

i'm fully commited to growing, just due to my job, everything is always a biut of a struggle trying to make things balance out. so while i'm trying to deal with my job, which is slipping from under my feet, i'm trying to keep ontop of the plants, and everything. i basically have a 10 minute window a day for doing anything in the main cab and about 25 minutes in the evening to tend to the veg. things are getting missed, simple things like PH'ing or adding nutes to the water are often getting skipped due to time and such. so the NFT is just to really let me focus on the slightly essential parts of my life right now :D

and this "resource" well basically someone i know who exists so to speak, it's ust handy having someone you propperly know to talk things out with and such, not to mention just someone to talk talk to, i don't do any of that these days

hey man i wasnt having a go dude i know shit is tough life just keeps chucking lemons.

i think oscaroscar is running one of those nft systems seems to be going great guns. i would like to switch to something a little less maintenance too, for the being able to go away for a week and not have the worry, but i would miss the personal tougch of being in the tent often haha

good to have someone to talk to man. helps a lot.

take it easy fella, n hope your shit at works works out, i thought you had that all sewn up. jobs have a way of biting you in the arse like that.

yeah, when there are no jobs available worth taking, it's seeming pretty mad to be choosing whether to refuse a promotion and quit, but that's how i'm feeling, i just kinda need that rather iomportant thing called income for rent and bills :(

think i'll drop oscar a PM and see what he thinks of it, if that's what he does have, i'm always wary of cheap ass water pumps.

A promotion. Sometimes a change is as good as a break (old saying lol).

Iv been there jobs just sh*t bullcrap all over crap, but it aint no fun with no cash!
You got whats called winter blues, you need to get some lead in your pencil just make sure you go to hers or his (i dont know).

As for watering day and night WTF every 3 days for me and thats coco.

well i had a read aroiund a loits of threads and guides stated to treat it more like a hydro grow and water wetness be damned till 15% run off.

i have to water the main cab in the morning when the lights go n there and the veg in the evenging when the lights go on there.

roots will grow bigger faster with less water in coco, i feed every other day as a general but not a great deal maybe 2/3 of a pint a piece . and i never have runoff. its too messy ahaha

well it's my first time with it, it's a learning process i guess.

as i say, i'm not managing to keep the whole every day thing going so it's varying between every other, and hell, maybe 4-5 by which it's pale brown bone dry, clever things like that, but when i do water they need around 2 Liters a piece to get any for of runoff.

I feel you on that, but if you go heavy on the nute like I was, Because of the mess I am watering my Veg with no run off. But once they are potted up and feed for a week or two I will allow some run off to keep the salts from building up.

and how is run-off messy :P i guess it depends on your space and number you're growing, but i just have a spare drip tray, so i simply move the pot from the wet tray to the dry one :P

Yeah bro, depends on your spacing and system. I am in a very tight space.

mosaic tiles :) keeps the pots off the tray and outta the water :) but it's all more mess and fuss than i need :) gonna have a chat with the owner and look into whether i can simply cut a quater of my hours instead of waiting for a "possible" pay rise to go along with the promotion (basically i've had to take a pay cut before anyone else higher up than me does, which sucks! it's hard working in a place, where the highest position available, is taken by someone who won't loose it, who sets a benchmark at the level, of, umm well i'd buck towards it being fucking incompetence, but he genuinely believes he's rocking the position out of the water..)
