I have been thinking about what would cause the nute burn, and today I remembered that a few days ago I added an inch or so of Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil to the two larger plants... would adding nutrient rich soil on the top of the soil cause nutrient burn?

Should I hold off on watering them? Or maybe give them a good watering to flush some of the nutes out of the soil?

Its hard to believe an inch of soil would cause that, but if its just on the bottom leaves and not spreading to any other leaves I wouldn't worry much about it.

If the soil you added had nutes already in it, then you water with more nutes, this could cause problems. I have seen a lot of people do this. Not saying thats what you are doing but it can be a problem.
