Started off with 5 plants, one was male and 2 were hermies so were pulled , leaving 2 females to mature.

The pot sizes were aprox 30cm x 30 cm, dunno what that equates to in litres.

So 2 plants originating from Nirvana seeds.

You reckon 8 oz is good for 2 plants?

I'm nearing harvest myself. I expect to be chopping the plant in the next week or two. So much for the Nirvana haters in the other white widow stable!

323cheezy: what steps can be take to prevent a mold problem before it occurs?

thats some gormet shit .....
as for mold ...... not much too do too prevent it .....
just make sure and hang it for atleast a week ....maybe two...
before its in jars..... burp it ,,,check it for moistness...its easy
those nugs are mold free .... i thinks....
thats alot of bud ....merry nugmas!!!!

LOL so hopefully i have timed it right to put in jars , lol but i am opening and restoring the jars to ensure that its fully dried out, so hopefully no mould, crosses fingers:P

This will probably keep me stocked up for a few months :) So i reckon i'll start another grow when the weather outside rises above freezing. Hopefully ill use the experience gained on this grow to make the next even better :D

Damn, not good Agent. Okay, here's what you need to do. Put buds in freezer and let them get solid. get a food processor, lots of ice, and water.

Put everything into the food processor and blend away (add more water / ice as needed)

Then strain this mixture through a coffee filter or something that is going to take most of the green matter/plant away. You will then be left with a dark liquid, strain as much water from this as possible (various methods - use syringe, or sieve carefully - I just poured most of the water out carefull - pictorial in my thread - https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/242611-headband-og-kush-grow-lst-20.html)
Then with what is left, put on a hot surface to bake or dry out. You will be left with some very nice hash to smoke, and you will not have wasted anything. Good luck, and if you need any help let me know.

i had some moldy nugs before....(last grow......not the whole batch ...just a jar)
itll still get u high it just kills the flavour, taste , and aroma....
some people say its dangerous to smoke moldy buds...
one guy told me it gets u higher when theres a slight mold....go figure...lol
but in your case its slightly moldy ..... id just air them out on a table.....

Any luck with the hash recipe Agent? I hope you managed to save your jars. I had that problem a few months ago, it breaks your heart to waste any weed. I baked my buds in the oven on a low temp for about 10 minutes and smoked the weed with no ill effects but it didn't taste very good and wasn't as strong as it had been before. DST's plan sounds like a good one.

How did it go then Agent? For the future if you are growing again (and if you have trim from your buds), you can get bubble bags for like 20 quid online. Makes life a bit easier. I use to use pillows, but that can be a right messy job. Hope it went well.
