Definitely keeping an eye on this one!!! I just started a Dinafem Power Kush about 4 days ago to go with 2 others I had started about a week earlier (one Ceres Orange Bud and one Barney's Farm LSD). The DFPK is already about 2 inches tall and looking very healthy so far.

looks like your on track for dank buds. not a lot but you will be happy. merry christmas
Unfortunately you're right about my expected yeild I think. I used much smaller pots this time around and I've noticed the 12/12 stretch didn't take off as much as I thought it would. As such I've ended up with two small budding plants. The BC is 14inches now and the PK is only 12. Oh well, this mistake will only improve future grows I suppose. I suspect the PK will just be a big cola (hopefully) with a few small nugs on the sides.

For what it's worth I'm really loving the PowerKush. I've never seen a plant bud this fast. Given I'm a noob with only five grows under my belt but still.. everyday I'm seeing significant bud growth. While I won't be breaking any records I'll be interested to see how much this plant gets considering how small it is.

Another thing I think I've learned from this grow is not to be so paranoid about a little heat. In the past I've always been OCD about keeping it around 78f which means dealing with less lights. This time I'm letting it hit 85f so I can get 42w CFL's on all angles of the plants along with a 150hps up top. The PK seems to be loving it and the extra heat doesn't seem to be a problem thus far. The only problem I'm having is both of these plants are having to be watered every other day now due to the heat/small pots.

The blue cheese has picked up a bit on budding now but it's like a snail when compared to the PowerKush.

Took some new pics today. Here's my favorite of the two, the PowerKush:

That last pic you'll notice a fan leave all droopy looking; it's actually tucked underneath a bud spot. I'm constantly tucking the massive fan leaves under bud spots to try to maximize yield. No clue if that'll actually make a difference but oh well.

Here's my Blue Cheese. It's way behind the PK and it definitely doesn't look as pretty. It has a bit of the claw going on.

The Blue Cheese has been budding really slowly though. I've had this happen in the past where it barely even buds and then suddenly 5-6 weeks in it explodes so hopefully that will be the case but who knows.

looking good
Thanks man. :bigjoint:

Ever since I bought my camera I could never figure out how to get decent closeup shots. I finally got around to messing with it for about a hour and figured out how to take good closeup shots in manual mode. It turns out all the "auto" modes suck. Anyhow, I'm finally able to take good closeup shots. I realize I just updated yesterday but oh well. New closeup pics:

PowerKush:

The Blue Cheese stretched another inch and a half last night and is actually showing pistils everywhere finally. I was starting to think I had a problem but it appears to have fixed itself? I gave both plants a full dose of Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom a couple days ago so perhaps it was just hungry?

Small update... The PK is fattening up nicely and getting frostier everyday. I'm a bit hungover thanks to new years so I won't take many pics but here's a couple closeups of the cola:

Here's a pic of the BC I took yesterday... it's gnarly looking:

I'm starting to think the BC won't be ready for at least 10 weeks, maybe more. It definitely is acting like a sativa pheno considering it refuses to stop stretching.

Anyhow, happy new years everyone! :bigjoint:

Very Nice Man... Lookin Yummy
Thanks man. I'm starting to get impatient. I'm bored so I took more updated pics of the PK today. Compared to yesterdays pics sugars have definitely picked up. :weed: It's a bit thirsty/droopy but the lights go out in a hour so I'm waiting until tomorrow to water.

I'm really starting to wish I vegged her longer. :wall:

Updated pics at four weeks flowering:

Powerkush

and below is my blue cheese. It looks pathetic for four weeks but its acting a bit like a sativa... maybe it just has a long time to go? The buds are definitely growing but VERY slowly. :-(

That sucks. I haven't noticed any blatantly obvious nute burn signs on it, its a healthy green. However, that could be why it's got the claw leaf thing going on. I've got a bunch of fem'd BC seeds so my next grow I'm going to grow one and use far less nutes on it. Perhaps I'll do 1/4 nutes throughout the entire grow to see how it reacts. I might even drop Tiger Bloom use on it altogether depending how it looks. Looking back on it the claw did start happening after I started adding larger doses of veg nutes. (more than a half of what fox farms suggests to be exact) I built up slowly to that amount though but I guess BC could just be one of those plants that hates a lot of nutes. I've heard Blue Berry hates a lot of nutes so it definitely would make sense that BC would react in a similar fashion.
