Quite Possibly the Dumbest Question Imaginable...

I am considering ordering a Stealth Hydro system - either the one that allows you to grow a few plants or the one designed for a single plant. My question is simple - if I grow a single plant, isn't there a decent chance it will turn out to be male and won't flower? Or am I a moron? Well, I am a moron when it comes to growing MJ, but I plan to learn!

If you are a first timer I would suggest that you order feminized seeds only, sure they cost a little more but you will be guaranteed to get a girl.. Also if you are in a state that has collectives you can always go there and buy a clone... Good luck

I second that, especially if you only have room for one or two plants. With regular seeds you'll get a female one in two or three. No guarentees then either, you could be unlucky and get all males even if you plant ten.

Like you I only have room for one, so popped 2 seeds cause of the 50/50 thing, I got lucky one was a girl and one was a boy

have not gone with fem seeds as of yet (bigger chance for hermies)

if you go feminized you are not guaranteed a female. it wont be a male but it is prone to hermie. I use them all the time and get really surprising results. I just germinated all my DNA/Attitude Xmas offer (15 seeds) and plan to get them in the dirt and hydro asap. I expect 2-3 males and 1 hermie.
