Jorge Cervantes v. Greg Green

For those of you who have read both, which marijuana grow bible is better? I was gonna go with the Cervantes but I noticed Green's was updated this year, and Cervantes not since 2006. I'm hoping that there is a section about coco in one of them.

those books are ok as a base of info, but most of it is bullshit, pick any sentence out of any book, and there will be 100 people saying 100 different ways

Well I've got both and IMO they are both crap though would pick greg over jorge

marijuana growers insiders guide by mel frank

I promise it will put you on the right track

I realize this is an old thread and I havent posted in a long time, but I actually learned some really
good facts in Greg Greens growers and his breeders bibles both!just about Got every mj book out.
mj botany is ok too but its kinda technical(sp?) comphave more facts ared. Gregs explains easier morefor stoners lol!
Many disagree but IMO grow books dont have as much misinfo as grow forums(will get my balls broke) And are better
to do homework when growing... IMO just think forums have alot of hear-say. Questions will get answered by first to
read it and tend to "pass on" grow info that theyve heard instead of speak frm experience..On the other hand Im not
even sure if Jorge C has even grown before,lol! Grow forums have great info but unfortunatly any1 can reply to threads
and mabey not every1 prob should?

i agree with a lot of what you have to say.. and yah, i don't even think that jorge has ever grown a mj plant in his life.. he just goes around to other peoples grow spots and talks to them and writes what he hears from growers..
his name gets him access to tons of top notch growers that you or i would never get a chance to talk to .. i'm not saying his book is a pos, but i don't think he knows nearly as much as he tries to act like he does for sure..
