I am going to go with the TechnaFlora starter kit its only $33 and I think it will be enough for a whole harvest. Also low maintenance and its said to be Ph balanced to no heavy ph changes. Hope Fully I will have everything ready by Jan 1. I had no Idea it would take this long to get everything going (BUDGET)

I got my ShortRider seeds in today and it had 10 freebies inside also. These are some pics of the 2 bagseed I have growing, I think I am going to just scrap them as you can see they have some problems. I put 4 of the freebies I got with my order in soil today. I also put 4 more 23w cfl's today. What do you guys think I should do with the 2 bag seed plants???

Yeah you should scrap those and start over when you can control the pH better
Your pH is really messed up causing the plants to look like this
You should look into a pH meter and some pH up and down so that you can adjust the pH to the proper level before watering the plants

I took your advise I scraped all of them and Now I have no bagseed I have 2 ShortRider Fem Germinating. And I have 4 of the free seeds I got from Nirvana growing (about 5 days old). I have 6 23w CFLs (6500k) I am adding 6 more next week. Thanks for the advise (+Rep) I feel much better about what I am doing now. (PICS LATER TODAY)

whats up BB thought id drop by and see how things are going smart move to start over and grow what you know and be better prepared for it so you have 2 shorties LR'S and 4 freebie's going do you know what the freebie's are what strain? so far they look very good one thing that does worry me is the hard leaves this early in seedlings a lil yellow is not that bad but hardening ? what kind of soil are you useing again? one more thing to be careful with at that tender age you dont need much light or heat on your babies..for the first 2 weeks i only use about 100 watts or less you can cover a lot of cups under that so no need for to many just a thought..PPP

I used( Miracle Gro.S.S + Perlite )for the freebies and (Miracle Gro.C.M + Perlite ) for the Shortriders. I have been watering once a day with rain water (6.7)ph and 24/0 lighting. I put in a Fan yesterday for a breeze. I saw alot of growth this morning after putting in the Fan. I think it was dry from the heat. I emailed Nirvana to find out what the freebies are but they said they didnt know and its random. Those pics are of the 4 freebies. I just put the shortriders in like 2 days ago natural germination. Only one is out so far.

ok got it i use MG organic always and the first try mine did the same as your's i lost 3 blueberry seeds but it was a learning experience for me now im pretty good with the MG i think you are right your plants were drying to fast you should not have to water every day for plants that size could be due to heat like you said just remember also some MG is time release and the more you water the more nute release you'll get the fan should help with the heat but dont aim your fan towards your soil or it will speed up drying as well..you should be covered for now also when im useing MG i ph my water to 6.0 when i start nutes i ph it a lil higher 6.5..works fine for me..hope this helps..PPP

I have been watering everyday because I dont use that much water and I put alot of holes at the bottom of my cups the water drains really fast.

I want to do some LST training but I have no idea how to do it really I have looked at Scwascwa's new CFL grow 
I saw that he had like 6 tops. I would love 3 or 4. Or should I just top or fim them? Let me know what yall think I should do.

I transplanted in much bigger pots I also started them on M.G. Organic Plant Food. (1/4 strength) I also put in some CO2 2liter bottle for each plant. I just got the temp back right in my grow room and I let one of the lights burn one of them a little bit but other than that everything is ok. my roots looked really good when I transplanted. Here are some pics.

The new pots are 3 gallon how much should I water them each watering and where should I put the holes in the pot. my avg temp is 83 and the humidity is 26%

Emergency Emergency Emergency I had to move my plants for temporary security reasons (No light for 16+ hours) what should I do I am afraid of hermies I have transplanted twice and I have some yellow spots. Should I start flowering when I get them back to my grow room or should I just put them back in their regular light cycle.
