I would still be giving it flowering nutes for a couple more weeks then flush for a couple.. My buddy keeps an 18 weeker going at all times for his head stash. No amount of indica or hybrids will ever trip me up as much as that smoke. If I had the light and space I would definitely keep a landrace sativa around. Well worth the time in my opinion

lol@landrace sativas. 18 weeks is fucking nutts......... i could finish 6 crops of my sourkush 12/12 from seed. in the time it would take you to JUST FLOWER that sativa.

ok nitrogen encourages leaf growth, wich you dont want this late into flowering. giving veg nutes right now would not be wise

chitown what you're saying makes sense.. i've grow before with very successful crop (just not one that took this long!!)... if i see that the plant needs the bloom for any reason ill give it some but i thinkyou're right...

is it worth topping any of the thin tops if they are nearly touchign the lights or is that a big no no? never done that before...

nice one... theres a few more around it and they are looking nicer already.. i cropped them to the max to produce more heads and they are about half the height than this one, so the size wont become a problemwhen they reach week 12-16

it dont need veg nutes this far into flowering man. it should have enough stored in the leaves for the final faze. just flush for the next 3 weeks man

Too bad sourkush is nothing like a landrace sativa so whats the point? Smoke a bowl of your kush, then take a hit of a real sativa. You could smoke 6 more bowls of that kush and still only feel the effects from that one puff of an 18 weeker. All depends on what kind of high you're looking for. It's not always about yield or hw many crops you can fit in. If you have the space chi def give one a try someday. The wait is well worth it.

what in gods name are you talking about?

i agreed with you right away that no nitrogen nutes were needed and so did the OP!

then you kept force feeding the information when WE BOTH agreed with you.

hence your comprehension problem. the ability to read a persons comment and understand!

china you need to calm down and read the posts again. He's right- I did fully agree with you and was only suggesting that ill add some BLOOM!!!! nutes, should they be necessary... so you didnt need to reply with the context that basically led to this entire pointless arguement... who agreed with who? what are we fucking 10 years old?

at the end of the day its all good guys, because the only reason china responded like that to begin with is cause he's smoking some heavy shit which and misread the posts, which is better than just being a clear minded prick who read the post right but still had to add spice into the pot...

thanks for the advice again.

yeah no doubt sativas take long in general, bagseeds are even worse cuzz you dont know were they came from or what there lineage is...you kinda just have to go off looks and growth patterns, and match that to other similer sativa strains you have grown to get a good idea of how long your gonna wanna let her go for..

and how would you like to bud out a sativa for 14 weeks plus only to find out its garbadge!!!!?
