it is foil, i saw other people did it.. should i take them off? this is my first grow some advise is very helpful.

yea the foil is a bad idea..some mylar would be better...or a cheap alternative is white poster board

I would prefer aluminium tape as reflective material! It's cheap and don't get curly! You could put it everywhere in the box! Good for light proofing your box

foil tape is not better its the same its still foil and that stuff isn't cheap either Mylar or white poster board, if you have no money inside out bags of chips are pretty much mylar, the idea is to get something that reflects light but does not hold heat, metal holds heat, even the chrome duct tape would work better than foil, not the Grey the chrome

Okay i've run across a big problem i need some help with the light arraingment, i'm not sure how i should set up all my lights, any suggestions?

whats new with making growbox??? .... I will build my growbox after 2 days and i will post some pictures and so on so check it out later.... it will be a speaker growbox .... size will be like 42hx27dx27w cm and inside will be smaller but still enought for diesel ryders

i already have the box i only need to make it much better looking need to cut some holes for intake exhaust and one more speaker.... yeah and one big hole on the back of the speaker where i will put some plastic board on which will be putted on only with some screws so this these will be like doors for inside of the box

Don't worry about the foil. Just be sure to use the dull side. There is no way in hell your going to get hot spots or burns using CFLs with the foil. So I wouldn't sweat it at all...

foil just isn't worth the time. get a pint of flat white latex paint. paint all walls of your interior. flat white paint is MUCH more reflective than foil... especially the "dull" side WTF why even use it?
