Hash$ to Bud$ Conversation

So ok have heard and read $15 to $20 for a gram of hash. $400 for oz of good hydro bud. Now what I want to know is why is hash not more money?? I made an oz of primo and I mean over the moon wasted with just a small amount powder hash from hydro leaves and pressed it. Now it will last for ever and can be stored very easy. Bud on the other hand is not so easy to store and degrades a lot easier. The bud tastes good of course but the hash is so nice. Also it does not reek as much and is so much easier to carry anywhere. It takes about a 10th of the hash to fly you as it does bud that is top notch as I said. So why with all the positive, better attributes does has not command at least double what bud does in $s?? It also can make you trip if you want to actually fill a bowl with it. It is pure pure pure crystals of dust from the best shit in the world so again why is it only $15 a gram... Thanks..

I've wondered the same. Here in Cali I can go to a dispensary and buy a G of any type of hash or kief for $15-$25. And it's not trash weed like said above - this is all top grade shit - purple urkel, Sour D, WW, etc. I wondered the same - why so cheap??! I dunno but I always buy a lot. hahaaa

that difference in price is because it is done by people who care about the medical needs of people- and are not skimming high profits.
do you think pot would cost $400/oz if it was legal?
the medical providers kind of put their neck out, bless them.

I totally agree killer hash prices of domestic is totally unappreciated.
A gram of hash can go a long way compared to a gram or 2 of weed.

In Australia the going rate for any bag regardless is only about $320... About $80 a quarter... Why are you paying $400 a bag and where are you????

Real Hashish is not made from the resinous leaves of the plants you've thrown thru your hydro system... Don't get me wrong I bet its the best quality but its not like putty which what old school stoners are looking for... I remember a time about 15 years ago where all we could get was Hash... It was nice to see a little green :bigjoint:but for over a year all we had was Red Celophane Gold Stamped Black Hash... I haven't seen it since... Has anyone else ever smoked so much Hash for a long time they developed Hash guts???? It feels horrible.. But good at the same time...

And as for legalisation? Well Cigarettes are legal and the Govt taxes them just like beer and Alcohol and that's heavily... If it were to become legal, the Govt would drive the price up to support the economy when the arse drops out of the oil market... Legalisation is really that of the individual... All you have to do, to not get busted it to keep your mouth shut...:-P

I'm thinking there is MORE hash available than demand, this would keep the price down. I don't care for hash, just prefer cannabis flowers in a vaporizer. There are probably others like me who are NOT in the hash market.
BTW, if "compassion", as suggested above, was the reason "dispensaries" sell hash "cheap",
then why are the BUDZ so goddamned expensive?

Im noticing a trend in that I know 2 weed dealers who have started rolling the bud in a pollinator and selling the bud at top dollar and also the kief / hash at top dollar. You can tell the look of weed thats been tumbled.

Well in Virginia (usa) hash goes for like 40 a gram. i know a dealer who gets it from cali along with lbs and lbs over to VA sumhow... as for the bud prices if your not coping weight your not getting a oz of funk for no less than 450$.......so yea i just wanted to say that

yep then they rethought there idea on why they were restricting cannabis and decided it was to keep people from becoming pacifists.... that was during the vietnam war tho.

consistancy is based on strain and pressing more than anything,,,
and by the way ,,LEGALAZATION IS BASED ON THE INDIVIDUAL,,,WTF,,, PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF---------....tell that shit to the 700,000 people put in us jails for cannabis, mostly for possesion,,,
my buddy got arrested at an austrailian airport for having a high times,,he didnt say a word about it to the officials..
i guess the austrailian police didnt get your memo

water hash in the south is 35/40g
there is really not much of a market here either in europe hash was the main thing going for years, so there is a huge following ..in the states not many regan era folks saw much hash, in the bible belt most have never seen it.
