help..curling leafs

i got this plant growing with a heat lamp its abt a ft high and the leafs curl rite when they grow heres a pic

Shitty pic(sorry) cant really tell? looks like could be overwatering? but not enough info to tell! are the tips of the leaves burt? what kind of light r u using? watts? what kind of medium u growing in? Nutes? ect..... the more info the better the diagnosis?......btw why is it all red in there?:wall:

well the leafs are green and look fine there just curling and ya its a red heat lamp 250w and wat are nutes?. and mediums whats u mean? and sorry for the pic its all i got

heat light trash it if you want to grow. at least go get some cheap cfl's from walmart. heat is bad plants are cold in nature. as a grower we want the heat out of our light . that light is frying your plant. you can get a 150 cfl that gives you 2700 lumens that will work but not like an hps or m/h bulb, but it will work heat could still be a problem but not as bad as a heat light. Not to mention that light in the light spectrum is probly not were it needs to be but i dont know were it sits in the spectrum. that your prob dude

iite ill get rid of the heat light and the light is hitting the plant from the side its not a very good spot. ill make sure i get one of those light bulbs to how many should i get one or two idk. ill move the light above the plant. will this help it alot to?

:bigjoint: your problem is the lamp....lol its too hot, plus i dont believe u r getting enough lumens for a "heat lamp"? but im not a veteran grower, so maybe you could but doubt it. watts? thats the wattage of your light ie 45,60,75,100,250,450,600,1000???? nutes r nutrients.... u know like gh( general hydroponics) AN( advanced nutrients??? heard of these? they provide your babies with the neccessay vitamins, food,yada yada. mediums are what u grow in, rockwoil soil ect.:-P

how u should grow ( mediums, nutes, lights) is a direct reflection on your buget? how much can u afford to spend, want to spend? hope its something FAST cuz ur baby needs u! Good Luck

alright ima get some of those cfls, i was readin abt them in the other topics but ya ima switch over thanks for the advice :-P
