I would try flushing the rez really good and let them sit for a day in pH water, then rinse again and go bac to your nutrient dosage your at now

not really sure what it is but its probably due to the pH malfunction

Clip any leaves that get over 50% damaged

It may be phosphorus but it may be lockout from pH.
(Figure 12 shows Phosphorus (P) deficiency during vegatative growth. Many people mistaken this for a fungus, but look for the damage to occur near the end of leave, and leaves the color dull greyish with a very brittle texture)

Greatly appreciated. My plants are showing signs of a few of these problems but it doesnt show how to fix it

any ideas???

Yea I will flush the res again and give them another 24-36hrs of fresh pH'd water (no nutes) then go back to 1/4th strength. I got just about a month left and now is not the time to screw this up.

Ill post some pics this afternoon so you can see how bad it is. then I will clip the damaged leaves

the one i have was only like 35 buc's on amazon

Most the time in hydro if something go's wrong then its the pH, after they sit for a day or two in reg water they should be fine, but if it gets worse it ight be a good investment to get the pH pen

might have to do that

Ph was easy to maintain most of the grow. just the 1st week (prolly inexperience) and now mid way through flower -must b all the roots now...idk

She looks nice. Here is a thought. I top off my rez daily with water about 16 oz of distilled water. Your plant is alot bigger than mine. How much water does it take a day and how often do you top off? If you are only topping off once a day maybe try topping off a couple times a day or even 3 times if it drinks that much. Your rez must not hold much water with all them roots in there.

yea the Aerogarden res is a lil less than a gallon and I go through almost a gallon every day now topping off every 4-6 hrs w/ ph balanced filtered water (from fridge pur water filter) they def drink alot.

I remember reading about an aerogarden grow that out grew the reservoir and the guy attached the top to a 5 gallon bucket with an air stone and finished that way. Too bad yah can't give em a big ole hamster bottle that refills the res for you. heh

I am gonna give them another night sitting in the nute-less water. maybe the ph cause a lockout then a salt build up. idk I will give them nutes tomorrow.

I wish i knew what your PH was exactly cuz when i look at your pics and your test tube that dark orange/red color you are getting seems bothersome to me. Cuz when i test mine (and i have the same testing supplies cuz im cheap) I can just get really light yellow... no matter how much phdown i put in the test tube. =X anyways good luck man hope all turns out well

you have to get the WIDE RANGE ph test kit.

I did the same thing and just bought one only to find out it only goes as low as 6.0. meaning it will only show yellow. so be carful with the PH down.

red is 5.0 so....I try to get it yellow with a tint of red (slightly orange) hoping to be close to the 5.7-5.8 recommended PH level.

only problem was that the AG nutes made my PH go up and the Fox farm was makin it go down. so whrn i took the AG nutes out my PH was lower than usual and i didnt catch it.

next grow im getting a digital PH reader

they didnt have the wide range kit in my petco but they had it on petco.com

o nice well that makes sense. Yeah a digital would be very nice I will have to invest in one of them as well.

Holy shit they were bad this morning so I flushed it out again. root system looks fine. PH is good. And I only ut 1 tsp tiger bloom + 1 tsp big bloom (half what Ive been giving them)

Pic update in a few mins
