growing to fast

If you want to stop the stretching get a nutrient known as bushmaster, made by Humboldt Counties Own. It's to late at this point to use that product, but for future grows it's a handy supplement if you have height restrictions.

See how the uppermost nodes are getting tight and alternating? That's a sign that the plant is ready to stop growing upwards and start putting it's power into bud production. They shouldn't get much bigger. It's looks like you can still bend a little more, so it's going to be close. It's really hard to make that call, so, all i can say is "keep bending", and wish you good luck.
That is just a sign that the plant is mature, not a sign that it's almost done stretching. If you veg your plants until maturity, you will notice inter-node spacing.

I had a similar problem on my first grow. I did the stealth cfl cabinet grow and it was a good learning experience. What i did is criss crossed and tied down the plants and it worked. judging from the set up you got there you should be able to do it just fine. I only got bout an oz out of my cab. I was expecting alot more cause i had 8 250 w cfls going. This year i upgraded to 2 600w hps mh and a new room. I made an investment but it cost just as much to run the room as the cfl set up and ++++ yeilds.

You were hoping for a QP? On average from my 3 foot plants with over 280watts of CFL that was surrounding the sides and above the plant I would average half an oz. CFL will not give you big yields, it's great as a stealth grow but not if your going for some major weight. And remember when ya harvest you will lose on average 75% of it's wet weight and it will shrink considerably.

You can't go wrong with Fox Farms big bloom and tiger bloom. Other additives I incorporate are gravity and snow storm ultra, both by Humboldt Counties Own. I also use flora clean twice during the flowering stage. Once at about 4 weeks in to help remove salts and then again at week 6 as I begin the final flushing of the plant.

Half oz per plant brah. You need less nitrogen when flowering. You deff wanna go off the veg nutes and get flowering nutes. There are some on this site that claim you don't need bloom nutes, but ya do. And there's an ongoing debate if by adding cfl's of the same wave length will increase lumens. You will find that many believe if you have 5 cfl's that emit 500 lumens that you will have a total of 2500 lumens. While others say that if the lights is all on the same wave length that your light coverage expands but lumens don't. So don't be so sure on how many lumens you're growing with, this subject is a hot debate. But deff add in bloom nutes and expect 1/2 oz per plant.

You can always add in more light, even if added in the middle of flowering. You'll deff get more of a yield. Funny thing, I'm actually ordering another 400 watt HPS on Wednesday. Go with HTGSupply, it's the cheapest place I've found. It costs like $120 before shipping for their basic setup, you get all your cords, socket, ballast, bulb, and reflector.
