Ok thanks, so i got a pc fan pulling air from out side the box in, works ok. And i have a circulatory fan inside to keep air moving. I was wondering , would it be ok to start the seed off at 12/12? Or does it need more light than that?

I made a few adjustments, pc fan for the intake, larger fan for circulation inside the box. The only thing i dont have is a exhaust hole I think it will be fine without because the box is not airtight. I put a piece of black cloth to cover the intake it still has good airflow through the cloth over i just need to plant the damn seeds that wont germinate@! lol how long do seeds usually take to germinate. Isoaked them in water for a night prior to germinating in paper towels, any ideas?

Nice. Hopefully it works.. Looks good though. But yeah you'll need to have more light than that for the seedling up into veg. 24/0, 20/4, 18/6, maybe even 16/8. But 12/12 strictly for flowering. As for the germinating. All I did was put them in a damp paper towel, put that in a cup with water at the bottom and put that in a cupboard for 2 or 3 days, checked the seeds and some had cracked and started growing roots. It shouldn't take long.

I thought you only need one light for the seedling? I dont know i have 3 more 40watts CFLs i just need to mount them better. If i do 14/10 for the phtoperiod its "suposed" to induce female production in seed chemistry, lower light/dark ratio suposedly makes more females, i read it in a book i dont know if its true but well see. Its been 3 days now an these seeds arent even cracked.

Ok so i have to fully germinated seedlings planted and the lights on. Over night one sprouted, does anyone think the light is too close? let me know what you think/

I had a little scare this morning to , i woke up and checked out the box, my fan was lying in the pot (fell off wall) and 2 of my wires touched and sparked causing a small little fire. So now im being EXTRA carfull lol.

i have a old speaker box that houses a 15 inch speaker a mid and a tweeter. been thinking of doing the stealth speaker thing myself. the 15 has a hole in it from when i moved so i can get rid of it and utilize half the speaker box so that the mid and tweeter still play and dont draw too much attention. if people ask i will say the voice coil in the 15 is burned up but still use other speakers.

Ok so i have 2 strong sprouts here now, under 1 40w light, im thinking of going to 60w which i might do, pics will be posted soon.

The only reason i have one light on right now, is because numerous people told me you only need 1 light for seedling because in such an early stage they cannot use the extra light?? I duno i thought the more light the better, i have 3 more 40 cfl's and im getting some 60 watts soon.
