N-P-K levels

I am vegging two bagseeds under 6 23W 2700K cfl's.I just started feeding with peters professional all purpose plant food with an NPK ratio of 24-8-16.So I was wondering if the extra K level would be toxic or what exactley it would do to my plants becuase I dont think that the K should be double the P?So please help

i think your fine as long as its not higher then the N..those are sum high veg npk ratios tho..my npk during veg is like 12-6-10 and my plants seem to veg really fast

I would cut that in half,maybe get another source to beef up the p.At the most my N level is 15 and thats the 3rd week of veg.Most of you're flowering nutes and micro have enough N to suffice.Late in flower I dont use any N because it darkens the bud during curing.peace

That is an excellent ratio and food.

Late in flower I dont use any N because it darkens the bud during curing.peace

Never seen that.

Not using N during flowering is not wise.

yea i would never cut N out completely..i just lower it the last few feedings

Could be wrong but i beleive you would be better off using the 5500-6500 for veg with cfl.The 2700 are more for flower.

Yeah I know but thats all I could get at this time,but that was about my other question.What wil the 2700k fluorescents do to my vegging plant?According to jorge cervantes more red light makes more males which is what my lights contain most.But Im still in denial that both of my plants could be males I just hope for the best.I hope I at least get a hermie lookin foward to some buds
