my temp is 85 degrees and the humidity is about 45 when running a humidifer. if not running its usually 25. i got an inline fan on a can and it dosnt seem to be dropping the temp at all plus another fan blowing air out the tent and a fan oscillating in side the tent.

tent is 3.4.7 anyone got any info

ur cutting it close. Let me just say 88 is too much. stops growth. sometimes my box gets to 85 but i dont let it stay there.

I'd get rid of that humidifier first and foremost. There's really no need to be pumpung in excess moisture to the room, it will actually start to cause problems further into its lifes cycle, especially during bloom. That will help drop the temps a few good degrees, at least.
The temp your running at is ok really, but is a little high. The previous post is only a little off, the higher temps actually cause the plant to speed up its photosynthesis, but without the addition of a little CO2 will only cause the plant to stretch more, and cause runny buds.
Do you have any CO2 suppliments? If not have you thought of furmenting yeast and sugar? That process causes a nice jump in CO2 gas levels, for a cheap price, and would be perfect for your tent.
Another good technique to employ is to try and keep the roots as cool as possible, using chilled nute water works, as long as its not too cold, or else it could shock the roots.
Ultimately, if you have good ventilation you'll be good at those temps, but there are ways to definitely make it better...
Let me know if that answers your question, and if you need some more clerification on anything.
Peace

Thx for clearing that up. But i don't understand. What else happens to the plant with 87 to 90+*?
I've just read..like everywhere that it's stops the growth? :?:

Stopping growth is more than enough ? what else would you like to happen ? everything slows down or comes to a complete halt...too long and your shit will just die...

My understanding you really dont want your room to go above 85 (and 85 is pushing it IMO). If plants suffer too much heat stress bad things happen, curling of leaves, stunted growth, and maybe..just maybe a dreaded hermie or two could arise from all the stress.

Your temps are that high now...how hot does it get during the summer where you live?

Actually 78-85 is a good temp to keep your room at when suplimenting CO2 the CO2 in the room.
Fresh air does an OK job, but tanks and generators are of course the best.
What happens at higher temps is actually interesting, growth will increase but photosynthesis slows without CO2, that's why we see plants stretching in high heat/low CO2 conditions, because the plant can't work fast enough to produce sugars and carbs, so all it can di is focus on stemming.
If you can increase the CO2 in the room, with higher temps, your positive growth will increase exponentially! Because the higher temps cause the plant to grow more rapidly, and there is plenty of CO2 to be absorbed to fuel photosynthesis.
I wouldn't worry about heat stress until the high 80's, or a few consistant days in the 90's.

Right, if you ARE adding co2 then temps around 80 - 85 are ideal. I personally feel that 85 is a bit high. I use added co2 myself and start getting pissed off when I see temps sitting at 85 for too long. 83..I'm good with no worries.

My room stays at 78, no acceptions, but I do pump MASS amounts of CO2 into there. I agree 85 is high, but still managable, not stressfull, let's remember, cannabis is a tropical plant and can thrive outdoors in temps of over 100 degrees. Its all about keeping a stable environment.

Ill agree i keep my temps around 77 letting it drop to 70 at night just watch the heat and try to exchange air out as much as possible

Your either gonna have to get a portable AC, or hook up a ducting system for fresh intake/heat exhaust.
Even a simple CO2 fermentation system won't help I don't think, you need to get some fresh air in there all the time.

really? fresh air from where though other then an ac? i dont get it most people on here grow stealth how do they get fresh air in there?

so should i just grow with the tent doors open since im still vegging? im just worried about getting any bugss up in there u know what i mean? i need to figure out how the perfect system should work ventilation wise.

If you set up a fresh air intake low, it could even be something like bedroom air. You also should set up a hot air exhaust somewhere high up, that way it pulls all of the hot air out.
I have a veg cab with a total of 5 square ft, that I use a 400w MH in. Its 2x2.5x3, and is getting 80 watts per sq ft. I have two cpu fans for exhaust high up, and two for bfresh air intake low and in the back.
It doesn't need to be outside air, but should be some sort of fresh air. Yeah, even opening the tent will help. Where do you keep your tent stored at?
