What's going wrong??? pics

I got 15 clones about 5 days ago. They seem to be going a bit down hill. I fed them with 2 tbl per gallon of water of foxfarm big bloom soil nutes. But this hasn't seem to change anything. I have these under a 400 mh light. Is this a magnisuim deficancy??

I'm goin to agree with fuzzybudz, you should let your plants soil dry all the way out before you water them again. The roots need aeration. If you continue to over water, the soil will trun to mush and suffocate the roots at the bottom of your pot. I suggest letting them dry until they wilt a little before watering. Good luck.

GIVE THEM DARKNESS!!! While the plants r n thier darkness cycle they work on the roots! you needs lots of good healthy roots so put it on like 18/6 that will help!!!

It looks like your in those pete pots. IMO, those don't provide good aeration....I'd poke some holes in the bottom/sides of them. As the soil drys, the plant grows roots faster in search of more water. Let the plant dry out between waterings to get a monster root ball. The roots are in the dark since they are in soil, so....light isn't stoppin your roots from growing.

....I put my clones under 24 hours of light for the first month or so.....I never have a problem with 100% success, everytime always. BTW, your plants don't look too bad.

...what? ...no, you CAN use the 400 watt light, just keep it about 3 foot away....400 watt MH only produces about 35,000 lumens. The sun produces like 6840000000000000000000000000 lumens. 400 watts are weak. Like I say, you might want to back up the light around 3 feet...you CAN use the 400 watt light. Most people don't because it's not necessary....and it cost more to operate then say a 40watt 4 foot tube floresant.

ok, im not arguing dood, its too much, i cant set unrooted clones under my 150 watt and that puts out 16000 lummens, it would kill them, so how could u with a 400?? im goin off of wat ive have DONE, not wat i think. IF those r unrooted clones u should put them under a few CFL's or sum floro tubes.

even if they are rooted it could still be too strong if the roots are not strongly established, say they just started rooting and that light is too hot and the water evaporates out of those leaves faster than the tiny roots can replace it the leaves wilt like what you got going there, then some ove tho foliage dies off beacuse the cells in the leaves are not getting sufficient moisture and then you get those spots you have ya digg?

I hate those peat cups they are alright if ur planning to grow outside. They take forever for roots to grow outside the cup. I screwed up my 3rd grow inside using them.

...okay, your putting your light too close also. Is that too hard to believe?:cuss: Light diminishes with distance. WOW!

i mean, if i back the light off any more the clones will stretch out all crazy from being deprived of light! its not hard to beleif that a 400 watt is a strong light, and NOT rooted clones cant survive under it. experience my freind. i USE a 400 and could NEVER imagine using it fer clones....ever.
