its a bit of a silly question isnt it, most plants flower 7-11wks so say u go for a 8wk flowering plant, clone/veg it for 4wks, flower it 8wks and in 12wks/3months total your have your pound of green aslong as you got enough plants.

my last grow was in soil and was only 2 plants but i yielded 364grams not that far from a pound just from 2 plants.

the real challenge is these people who harvest a pound every 2-3 WEEKS, anyone who has a lil bit of knowledge and enuff space for x amount of plants can harvest a pound every 3 months.

but good luck with your grow hope all gos well.

i used a 250cfl to veg them and then a 600hps to flower them, i think the 600hps for just 2 plants had a lot to do with the good yield.

It's a perfectly valid question. it might have sounded better if it was worded something like this:

What is the minimum requirements (space/wattage) for growing a pound every 3 months?

heres the true question what is your budget i could help you with a good little set-up option and i would rec. you going with soil because obviuosly you have no prior knowledge

i would probably go with a 600wat M.H. during vegging (im a 600watt fan)

switch to 600Wat. HPS during flowing

hydro farm 4 ft light track

go with the home made CO2 thread for CO2 because this method works well with small personal ops.

pick good nutrients. prefer organic soil and nutes. Also try to get a nutrient schedual and be careful use the directions specifically

and you will also need accessories it always is going to be a little spendy starting up your first time.
