first grow uvb light help

this is ganna be my first grow:bigjoint: and i have heard that using a uvb light during flowering wuuld bring up the thc and i was thinking would this light do
my setup is 150-200w cfls for veg 6400k
250hps for flowering gonna be growin 3-4 lowryder2 in Biobizz All Mix 10l pots from seed i was thinkin it cant hurt to put the uv light in and any and all help welcomed

ive seen those bulbs used many a time in difrent grow room pics so they must be good :P do you think a neon light would be good to grow with ?

I heard the increase in THC as well when using UVB Bulbs and it can't do any harm to put it in ,I was actually thinking of getting 1 for my next grow

OK first off if you plan on using that bulb, keep an eye on your plants. UVB bulbs put off harmful uv rays that will damage your plants with prolonged use. Use it only in the last two weeks of flower and also use it for only a couple hours at a time. Once again pay close attention when using it because those UV rays will burn the hell out of your plant.

-- Very true, as well as damaging your eyes.

I've used two similar bulbs before as an experiment, with no noticeable difference in product. Even 12 hours of these bulbs didn't seem to do anything, other than UV burning the tops of the closest plants. I'm convinced I would have been better off with more "real" light.
