er erm. not tryna toot my own whistle but im a commercial fisherman
and uh...well lets just say i havent been banking on salmon for the past few years/...

My wife is from MB... We moved here to get the kids closer to thier grandparents for a while.... still own my house on the island
Ill b back... and this winter really hasnt been that bad here. Nice break from constant rain. I do MISS the smoke though, and I cant really grow outside here.So indo we go

Seeds showed up yesterday from Gypsy's Nirvana after only 8 days. well packaged and discreet. I will order from them again fo sho. PLUS they sent me 10 free seeds.... Skunkman's haze-x/skunk-1. Don't know how good the strain is, but free seeds are free seeds.
So I got :
Sure wish I had a hydro shop near by!!! Just waiting for my net pots and rockwool...then its go time

Right on man, Where ya from? How many seeds of each? I'd start with the Church and then go with the W.W. and W.R. for your first 2 grows then go with the sativas.

Wanna hook me up with a job? lol. I have some experience on a commercial tug, gill netting and a bit of trawling. Probably nothing like what you work on, but I had a lot of fun on the boat. hahahah
On a growing note....
I will be cropping my first plant in 5 days or less. It's the afghan kush's time to die.
In about a weeks time, I will most likely crop the sativa bag seed I have too. I have 5 healthy sprouts:
1x- The Church
1x- a Grape strain
3X- bag seed (2 known sativas and 1 known indica.)
Once I have room in my cab, their all going in!

lol well i get that alot, the positions that come up are taken before i get a chance to ask anyone man haha. not much happening till next summer on the albacore tuna fishery. it wasnt the best this year but a good fishery for an inbreaker, you dont wanna go as greenhorn at this time of year, haha it'd leave a bad taste in your mouth and a little too much saltwater in ur gumboots if you know what i mean.\

Lived all over Canada... Just moved to MB from Vancouver island but I was borne in NFLD then bounced from coast to coast.
I have 2 each of the green house seeds, 10 haze/skunk and 5 mixed Growdoc indica seeds...think ill germinate a church, a trainwreck, an a.m.s. and a growdoc indica to start.... clone the strongest and sweetest 2...
And eventhough I have done plenty o research i'm sure ill have a few questions along the way. Growing indoors on the praries is not like throwing 6 plants in the backyard on Van Isle...
What other parts of Canada are represented in this thread? any one else here In manitoba?
