My riders, who I had to move to my neighbor's basement (thanks to my wife), are doing great. They are at less than 2 weeks flowering, and I'll post pics as soon as he gets home. So far, I have ZERO complaints....they all popped, vegged for 4 weeks, and all their little white hairs are everywhere. Some crystal formation is also now evident. I wish my wife was cool, or I'd just go down to my closet, take the pics, and post up immediately. 'Dang paranoid wife .......

If i read correctly its looks like you grew them out in rockwool cubes for a week under no light at all? then when they were 3 inches tall you put them under the hps. What exactly happend in the beginning there?

Hey, thanks bro. Things have been rough-the wife and I were fighting over my grow daily So I moved them to my neighbors'. They are under 600w, first with MH and now HPS, Fox Farms Ocean Soil and all their nutes. I had these things in a 5x2 closet at first, and heat was an issue. So I had to keep a fan on them and the door cracked. Then the smell in the house pissed off the wife.

The girls seem to be liking their new home, but my neighbor doesn't know shit about growing, so I go over there all the time.

the reason you cant see the roots in that pic is the rootball in nft is in the tray. there is a resevoir at the bottom which has a pump in it. then a tray on top where the pump pumps in at one end, flows over the roots and out other end of tray (coz its slightly tilted) and bak into the res. you place root spreading mat over the tray and the roots end up covering the whole tray about 40mm thick.

Yo.......right buddy first things first,,, they were germinated in paper towels<moist at that> then as they were germining i soaked the mini rockwoolcubes that fit into the larger ones for a solid 24 hrs...as soon as tap roots were out and stable i then transfered them into the minirockwool cubes inside a propigator using a normal desk lamp <24 hr light cycle/minimal water in tray> until they were at such height where they were ready to be placed into the l;arger rockwool cubes and begin with the 4oohps, at which point i began the journal....The question you keep asking abount the rootballs puzzles me but my good friend said he will reply to you and explain the ins and outs of this question.....
Without a journal of yr own on here its hard for me to advise you....Start one lets see yr setup,,, il be more than happy to watch yr progress...Again no offence ment for late reply pal

well this is the only thread i've posted on on rollitup to be honest. I think my first post was on another thread. regardless. If i start a journal up I would be more than happy if you guys stopped by.

I honestly dropped 2g's to replicate this grow as best i could. I'll post a link to my journal in a few hours. Gotta take pics and load them and take a shower. then i start my journal right up and post it in here.

thanks a ton for trying to help me out growlow. but i still need a ton of info from you on nutrient ppms throughout your grow. did you suppliment using any products or was it vitalink the whole way through? My babies are on day 3 so i need to get this shit all figured out asap before they explode on week 3 like yours did (with any luck)!

Yeah bro, thanks for asking Since it is winter here, I went with my 1st indoor attempt.

I had to move it to my neighbor's basement since my wife was losing sleep over the smell in the house. I will post pics tomorrow of the autos if you don't mind me posting in your thread.

Sometimes I don't know what's worse; fighting creatures, snakes, deer, racoons, steep rocky hills, bad weather, rip-offs, or putting up with the wife's comments and paranoia.
